This study’s aim was to prove the mediating effect of the depression and the self-esteem within the path which the attachment with peers have affected to the smart phone addiction of a school dropout adolescent. To do so, a total of 315 cases were selected as an analysis target from the Panel Survey of School Dropout Youths(PSSDY) 5th(2017) data. The Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) of AMOS 18.0 was applied as main analysis method, and Sobel test was used for demonstrating the effectiveness of the mediating effect. Analysis results through this analysis method were as below. Firstly, this study haven’t verified the significance of the direct path that the attachment with peers affected to the smart phone addiction in the full structural model. Secondary, this study have demonstrated the effectiveness of the indirect path composing by the depression and the self-esteem. Based on these findings, this study have proposed the implication associated with social welfare for smart phone addiction of the school dropout adolescent and the suggestion for a follow-up study.

본 연구의 목적은 또래애착이 학업중단 청소년의 스마트폰 중독을 설명하는 경로과정에서 우울과 자아존중감의 매개효과를 검증하는 것에 있다. 이에 본 연 구는 학업중단청소년패널 5차년도(2017년) 자료에서 총 315명의 사례자를 분석대 상으로 선별하였다. 그리고 주요한 분석 방법은 AMOS 18.0의 구조방정식모형 (SEM)이며, 매개경로의 효과성은 Sobel test로 검증하였다. 이러한 연구방법을 통해 산출한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구는 완전구조모형에서 또래애 착이 스마트폰 중독을 예측하는 직접경로의 효과성이 입증되지 않았다. 둘째, 본 연구는 우울과 자아존중감을 경유하는 간접경로의 효과성을 입증하였다. 본 연구는 제시된 연구결과를 근간으로 학업중단 청소년의 스마트폰 중독을 위한 사회 복지학적인 함의와 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 도출하였다.
