- “Wives over the World” was a women’s cultural magazine organized by Kim Donghwan for female students and young female readers of the time. It was an independent magazine from “Samcheonri”. the longest serving popular magazine in Japanese colonial era. For this reason, rather than an independent magazine, it can be seen that “Wives over the World” reflected the intention of “Samcheonri” company in the early 1930s. This study corrects errors on the abolition of the “Wives over the World” and finds the cause of the failure of the magazine is not the financial difficulties announced by “Samcehnri” company, but in the context of not grasping the gender aspects of the time. It contemplates the views of “Gender Regime” under the shadow of ‘world oriented’ and ‘the pursuit of universal knowledge’ in the first issue of “Wives over the World” and in the “Samcheonri” magazine’s “Wives over the World” column. Also, this study examines the deformity of the female representation imaged in the cover and advertisements of the “Wives over the World”. In addition, considering the fact that “Wives over the World” planned by ‘Samcehonri’ company was not a ‘woman over the world’ but as ‘wives over the world’, it proves the traces of appropriating the signifier of ‘female’ and ‘wives’ as intended by the editorial staff of “Samcehonri”. Especially, this phenomenon is notable in Lee Gwangsoo’s 「Ten Commandments of modern women, the Ten commandments of Young Women」. Henceforth, Ko Youngsook’s 「Thoughtless words of Lee Gwangsoo」, which criticized it, has been submitted and draws attention. This manuscript discuss between Lee Gwangsoo and Ko Youngsook, and critically reviews the representation of the ‘modern women’ that the intellectual group of the time wanted to standardize and explains the reason tor the failure of “Wives over the World”.

- 『萬國婦人』은 당대 여학생들과 젊은 여성 독자층을 대상으로 김동환이 기 획한 여성・교양잡지로, 일제강점기 최장수 대중지였던 『三千里』에서 독립 된 잡지였다. 그 때문에 독립 잡지라기보다는 1930년대 초 ‘삼천리사’의 기 획 의도가 반영된 잡지였다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 지금까지 알려진 『만국부인』 폐간에 관한 오류 등을 정정하고, 『만국부인』의 실패 원인을 삼천리사에서 밝힌 자금난이 아니라 당대 젠더 양상을 파악하지 못한 맥락에서 찾는다. 『만국부인』 창간호와 『삼천리』 <만 국부인>란에 내재된 ‘세계지향성’과 ‘세계 보편 지식의 추구’라는 그늘에 가려진 ‘젠더레짐(Gender Regime)’의 시각들과 『만국부인』 표지와 광고에서 이미지화된 여성 표상의 기형성을 고찰한다. 이와 더불어, 삼천리사가 기획 한 『만국부인』은 ‘만국의 여성’이 아니라 ‘만국의 부인’이었다는 점을 고려 하여, ‘여성’과 ‘부인’의 기표를 삼천리 편집진의 의도대로 전유한 흔적들 을 논증한다. 특히 이런 현상은 창간호 기획 원고인 이광수의 「新女性의 十戒銘, 젊으 신 姊妹께 바라는 十個條」에서 두드러지게 나타나며, 향후 이를 비판한 고 영숙의 「李光秀氏의 妄談」이 제출되어 큰 화제를 모으기도 한다. 본고는 이 광수와 고영숙의 논의를 비교하여 당대 지식인 그룹에서 규범화시키고 싶 었던 ‘신여성’의 표상을 비판적으로 검토하고, 이에 따른 『만국부인』의 실 패 요인을 해명한다.

- 한국문예창작학회(The Society of Korean Literary Creative Writing)는 한국 문학의 새 지평을 열기 위해 문예창작 이론과 문예교육 이론을 연구 계발하여 문 예창작의 새로운 방향을 제시하고자 조직한 학술단체입니다. 전국 대학과 대학원 문예창작 관련학과의 전·현직 전임교수·겸임(초빙)교수· 강 사·대학원 재학 이상자 및 문예창작인들이 회원으로 활동하고 있습니다. 학회의 목적에 적극적으로 동의하는 문학 관련 단체나 문학창작 동호인도 준회원으로 참 여하고 있습니다. 연 2회 학회지를 발간해 학문적 기반을 닦고 있으며, 정기적으로 학술 세미나 와 해외 문학 심포지엄 등 학술 발표회를 개최하여 학문적 교류와 토론의 장을 넓히고 있습니다. 한편으로, 문예창작 캠프·문학기행 등의 창작교육 활동과 창작 학습 행사를 수 시로 진행하면서, 창작·창작이론·창작교육에 관한 활동의 범위를 넓히고 있습니다. 별도로, 문예창작 교육을 받은 문예창작학도들의 진로 개발을 위해 '문예교육지도 교사 자격 시험'도 운영하고 있습니다. The Society of Korean Literary Creative Writing is a pure academic association for the literary cretive writing, and was organized on November 11, 2001 for the purpose of presenting the new direction of literary creative writing by studying all the methods to activate and develop the theories of literary creative writing and its education. Our society is composed of professors or ex-professors, some invited professor, lecturers, graduate students of the dept. of literary creative writing as regular members, and the persons interested in our program as associative members. Our society holds an annual academic meeting-- literary symposium, literary creative writing seminar-- and publishes the journal of our society and our members' anthology of literary works. Added to these, our society has already started a new project to open the way for our literary juniors by providing them with a certificate as a leader and holding a forum for literary creative writing.
