This research aims to explore the possibility of Law-Related Education using culture and arts. In recent years, research on arts as a social motive for law has been started. Arts at this time is not limited to a work of arts on the subject of law or the representation of law, but is intertwined with an attempt to secure the inner openness of legal practices, procedures, agendas and structures as the flexibility of art form. It aims to open up a new perspective on the law and experience the law in a different way. In this context, this research looks into the possibility of teaching how to perceive and express the law through cultural and artistic experiences. On this, the learner is able to directly extract and produce images of law, and compare them with other images of law. This is to explore the possibilities of communicating real-world experiences of creating images of law while including visual literacy for law. The theoretical exploration of this research is also aiming at the meaning of Law-Related Education and convergence education that would soon be followed.

이 연구는 문화예술과 법의 연계지점을 확인하면서 문화예술을 활용한 법교육의 가능성을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 최근 몇 년 전부터 법에 대한 사회적 동기부여로서의 예술에 대한 연구가 시작되 고 있다. 이때의 예술은 법을 주제로 한 예술작품에서 법을 재현하는 것에 그치는 것이 아니라, 법의 개방성을 예술 형식의 유연성으로 확보하고자 하는 시도와 맞물리며 법에 대한 새로운 관점을 열고 기존과는 다른 방식으로 법을 경험하게 하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 이와 같은 문제 의식을 공유하면 서 이 연구는 법에 대한 이미지를 학습자가 직접 추출 및 제작하고 법에 담긴 이미지를 해독하며 작품 으로 표현해보는 법교육의 가능성에 대해 이미지 수사를 중심으로 모색한다. 이것은 법에 대한 비주얼 리터러시와 연계되면서도 법에 대한 이미지를 제작하는 경험을 통해 소통하는 방식을 탐색하는 것이 다. 이와 같은 문화예술을 활용한 법교육의 이론적 탐색은 향후에 이어질 융합교육으로서의 법교육의 이론적 정당화를 간접적으로 시사하고 있다.
