This thesis aims to take a deeper approach to the reality of the Taedongdan(대동단) by examining the activities and activities of the members of the Korean National Foundation, the Jeollabuk-do Namwon, and Jeongeup, and the attempts to establish Jeon-ju. The establishment of the Jeollabuk-do of Taedongtan, was made when Lim Eung-cheol(임응철) went to Gyeongseong(경성) and met with major executives of the Daedongdan, including Jeon Hyeop(전협) and Yoon Yong-ju(윤용주), but he was not actually involved in the organization because he was still in Gyeongseong. Kim Jae-gu, who was ordered by Yoon Yong-ju, played a major role in expanding the Jeollabuk-do to Namwon and raising independence funds from Namwon region members. Kim Jae-gu took Kang Kyung-jin, Lee Bum-soo(이 범수), Han Tae-hyun(한태현), and others living in Namwon to Gyeongseong, where he met Lim Eung-cheol and joined the Taedongdan to help raise funds for the independence movement and expand the organization. Meanwhile, attempts to expand the Jeonju area were made through Kim Jae-gu. Yoon Yong-ju ordered Kim Jin myoung to recruit members and secure funds in Jeonju. However, Kim Jin myoung was arrested in Yeongdeungpo on his way back to Jeonju, and his attempt to expand the Jeonju area was failed. The method of expanding the Joseon People's Daedongdan in Jeollabuk-do Province was for the members to go to Gyeongseong in person and meet with the leader and the executives in person before joining. Yoon Yong-ju played a big role here. Yun Yong-ju went directly to the members of Jeollabuk-do (in the case of Kim Jin-myung) or invited the members to come to Gyeongseong. In the case of the Namwon branch, all four other people, except Han Tae-hyun, went up to Gyeongseong and joined. Kang went up to Gyeongseong twice. Of course, it seems that all the places they met in Gyeongseong were different. Jeollabuk-do Province of the Korean People's Daedongdan, was able to facilitate the expansion of Namwon to Jeonju and the recruitment of independence funds due to Yoon Yong-ju's encouragement in Gyeongseong and activities such as Im Eung-cheol and Kim Jae-gu, and the members were able to participate.

본 논문은 3.1독립운동 이후 설립된 국내 비밀결사단체인 대동단 전라북도 지단의 구성원들과 활동, 남원, 정읍으로의 확장과 전주 지역의 설치 시도 등 을 자세히 살펴봄으로써 대동단의 실체에 한층 더 깊게 접근하고자 한다. 대동단 전라북도 지단의 설립은 임응철이 경성으로 가서 전협, 윤용주 등 대동단 주요 간부들을 만나면서 이루어졌고, 대동단 전라북도 지단을 남원으 로 확대시키고, 남원 지역 단원들로부터 독립운동금을 모집하는 것에는 윤용주 의 지령을 받은 김재구의 역할이 컸다. 김재구는 남원에 사는 강경진, 이범수, 형갑수 등을 경성으로 데려갔고, 그곳에서 임응철을 만나 같이 대동단에 가입 해 독립운동 자금을 모집하고 조직 확대를 해나가게끔 도움을 주었다. 한편, 전주지역의 확장 시도는 김진명을 통해 이루어졌다. 윤용주는 김진명 으로 하여금 전주 지역에 단원을 모집하고 독립운동자금을 확보하라는 지령 을 내렸다. 그러나 김진명은 전주로 돌아가는 길에 영등포에서 체포되어 전 주 지역의 확장 시도는 무산으로 돌아갔다. 대동단 전라북도 지단이 확대되는 방식은 단원들이 경성으로 직접 가서 단 장과 간부단을 직접 만난 후 가입 하는 방식이었다. 여기에는 윤용주의 역할 이 컸다. 윤용주는 전라북도 지단의 단원들에게 직접 가서 권유를 하거나(김 진명의 경우), 단원들을 직접 경성으로 오게 하여 가입시켰다. 남원의 경우 단장인 한태현을 제외한 나머지 4명이 모두 경성으로 올라가 가입했다. 강경 진은 두 차례 경성으로 올라갔다. 요컨대 대동단 전라북도 지단은 경성에서의 윤용주의 권유와 임응철, 김재구 등의 활동으로 인해 남원과 전주로의 확장 및 독립운동금 모집을 용이하 게 할 수 있었고, 단원들이 참여할 수 있었다.
