The purpose of this study was to analyze the case of applying forum theatre, one of the educational drama/theatre techniques, as a teaching and learning method for pre-service teachers who took D University's course "educational method and educational technology" and "educational technology". As a result, pre-service teachers experienced true cooperative learning, agonized over improving their expressions, and immersed themselves in and sympathized with the plays and the characters of the ones. And in the context of real-time remote classes, they expressed regret over the performance of the play in remote classes, while feeling realistic. In addition, pre-service teachers evaluated this case as free communication classes, being considerate of students, passionate classes, and smooth remote classes. They also evaluated the educational effectiveness of forum theatre very positively. Through this case, we hope that this study will be a catalyst for further in-depth and specific follow-up research and discussion, and that forum theatre will spread to pre-service teachers in more professional and diverse ways and strategies.

본 연구는 D대학교 교직과목 『교육방법 및 교육공학』 및 교육학과 『교육공학』 교과목을 수강한 예비교 사들을 대상으로 교수학습방법으로써 교육연극 기법의 하나인 포럼연극을 적용한 사례를 분석하는 것 을 목표로 하였다. 그 결과, 예비교사들은 진정한 협동학습을 경험하였고, 연극과 극의 인물에 몰입하고 공감하였다. 그리고 실시간 원격수업 맥락에서 예비교사들은 비대면 수업에서 연극을 실행하는 데 있어 아쉬움을 토로하였고, 그 반면에 현장감을 느꼈다고 하였다. 또한 예비교사들은 본 사례에 대해 자유로 운 소통이 가능한 수업, 학생들을 배려하는 수업, 열정이 넘치는 수업, 원활한 원격수업으로 평가하였다. 뿐만 아니라 포럼연극의 교육적 효과를 매우 긍정적으로 평가하였다. 해당 사례를 통해 본 연구가 보다 심도 있고 구체적인 후속 연구와 논의를 촉발하는 기폭제가 되어 향후 교원양성을 위한 대학 현장에서 예비교사를 대상으로 포럼연극이 더 전문적이고 다양한 방법과 전략으로 확산되길 기원한다.
