The Korean Church have faced the crisis of mission and evangelism due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many Korean Churches have closed their doors to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and moved online. Many churches are still in lockdown. In this situation, it is difficult for the Korean Church to adhere to the traditional ways of mission and evangelism and it also is hard to the future with optimism. The Korean Church is necessary to focus on a new missiological, pastoral and theological paradigm in a field of practical theology because we are able to expect the impotance of the secular places as well as the sacred dimensions for mission and evangelism in the Post-Crorona era. Triune God, who is doing mission, sends us to the diverse spaces in this time of crisis. For this reason, I want to concentrate on ‘holistic spatial mission and evangelism’ to find the missional possibilities for His mission (Missio Dei). According to Ray Oldenburg’s book, The Great Good Place: Café, Coffee Shops, Bookstores, Bars, Hair Salons, and Other Hangouts at the Heart of a Community, the “first place” is the home and the “second place” is the workplace where people may spend most of their time. Oldenburg also explores the “third place” that is an informal, neutral, comfortable, playful, and easily accessible place in our community. People, who are engaging into the missional movement, also encourage the churches to make the third place for mission and evangelism by interacting with unchurched and dechurched people. However, it is difficult for us to access the third place where we build for making social capital with people who live in our community because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we spend more time with our child at home (the first place) and the workplace (the second place) is still important for His mission in this time of crisis. I also introduce the“fourth place” where we can access both online and offline spaces for future mission and evangelism in this article.

한국교회는 코로나 19로 인해 선교, 전도의 공간적 한계를 경험하고 있다. 대다수 교회들의 예배는 비대면 온라인으로 전환되었고, 전통적 패러다임을 가지고 선교와 전도를 실천하는 교회들은 큰 어려움에 직면하고 있다. 한국교회는 이전에 경험하지 못한 위드 코로나 그리고 포스트 코로나 시대에 목회적, 선교적, 그리고 실천신학적 패러다임의 전환이 필요하다, 왜냐하면 포스트 코로나 시대에는 거룩한 상상력 없이 제한적인 공간에서만 이루지는 전도와 선교는 큰 한계를 경험할 것으로 예상되기 때 문이다. 삼위일체 하나님은 선교역사 안에서 어떤 어려운 상황 가운데에도 선교하셨 고 그분의 선교를 이루셨다. 필자는 본 논문에서 포스트 코로나 시대 새로운 전도와 선교를 위해 공간에 주목하고자 한다. 도시 사회학자 레이 올덴버그는 그의 책 『The Great Good Place 훌륭하고 좋은 공간』에서 제1 공간(가정), 제2 공간(일터), 그리고 제3 공간(사랑방)을 언급한다. 이 공간들 중에서 올덴버그는 공동체의 연합을 위해서 누구나 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 제3 공간(the third place)이 중요성을 강조한다. 올덴버그뿐 아니라 선교적 교회운동 이론가, 실천가들도 ‘제3 공간’의 중요성에 주목하고 있 다, 그러나 안타깝게도 코로나 19 팬데믹으로 인해 제3 공간의 공간적 역할이 축소되 었다. 필자는 본 논문에서 포스트 코로나 시대 위기를 넘어서 선교적, 목회적, 그리고 실천신학적 기회를 얻기 위해서 ‘총제적 공간선교, 전도’(holistic spatial mission and evangelism)를 제안하고자 한다. 한국교회는 팬데믹 현상으로 전도, 선교, 그리고 예 배 사역에 어려움을 경험하고 있지만, 사람들은 ‘제1 공간’인 ‘가정’에서 가족들과 많 은 시간들을 보내고 있다, 그러므로 가정에서 다음 세대 사역을 위한 제자훈련과 전 도가 활발히 일어나야 한다. 또한, 몇몇 직장들은 재택근무로 ‘제2 공간’인 일터에서 모임이 어렵지만, 포스트 코로나 시대에도 일터는 하나님이 그분의 백성들을 보내신 아주 중요한 선교 공간이다. 마지막으로 포스트 코로나 시대에 ‘제4 공간’인 온, 오프 (올)라인 공간에서 미래 선교의 가능성을 언급하고자 한다.
