The purpose of this study was to reveal the specific way of thinking and social practice implicitly dictated by teacher speech in elementary P.E. classes. To this end, teachers’ talk texts of elementary P.E. class were analyzed using Fairclough (1995)’s critical discourse analysis method. a) As a result of micro-language analysis, it is the rule or the teacher's word that governs behavior in the P.E. teacher's talk text. The student group has autonomy under the rules and each individual exerts authority in terms of the performance of tactics or functions. In addition, in terms of discourse practice, teachers’ talk contributes to the reproduction of discourse implicitly advocating neo-liberalistic ideology, and fair discourse, liberal discourse, and ability-centered discourse act as hegemony. Finally, the social practice of teachers’ talk in P.E, classes and 「girls’ physical education promotion policy」 is related in terms of restrictions on the autonomy of participation, negating of others, and attributing individuals’ responsibility.

본 연구의 목적은 초등 체육수업에서 교사 발화를 대상으로 그것이 암묵적으로 지시하는 특정한 사고방식과 사회적 실천을 밝히는 데 있다. 이를 위해 Fairclough(1995)의 비판 담론 분석 방법을 사용하여 초등 체육수업의 교사 발 화 텍스트를 분석하였다. 미시적 언어 분석 결과, 초등 체육수업 교사 발화 텍스트 내에서 행위 규정 권한 전체를 지배하는 것은 규칙 혹은 교사의 말이며, 모둠은 규칙 하에서 자율권을 갖는 점과, 나아가 각 개인은 전술 혹은 기 능의 수행 차원에서 권한을 발휘한다. 또한 담론적 실천 차원에서 초등 체육수업의 교사 발화는 그 암묵적 의미작 용을 통해 신자유주의 이데올로기를 옹호하는 담론을 재생산하는데 기여하고 있으며, 공정 담론, 자유주의 담론, 능 력중심주의 담론이 헤게모니로 작용하고 있다. 마지막으로 초등 체육수업 교사 발화와 여학생 체육 활동 활성화라 는 사회적 실천은 참여의 자율권 제한, 다름의 불인정, 개인으로 환원된 책임의 측면에서 관련이 있다.
