This paper attempted to criticize Lee Yeong-hoon's 'Anti-Japan racism'. His 'Anti-Japan racism' is based on a deformed knowledge structure conceived by the unresolved pro-Japanese issues in our society. In other words, his central logic is the false claims and distorted values that have taken advantage of our gray society. For Lee Yeong-hoon, ‘Anti-Japanese racism’ is a magic wand of logic. He drove all the values that hindered his argument to ‘Anti-Japanese racism’. The problem is that such claims are emotional and confirmation bias. Although elements such as the ethnicity, Dangun, and Baekdusan, which he has pushed for ‘Anti-Japanese racism’, are elements that cannot be separated from our identity, he is treated as scum of Shamanism in his logic. Our experience before Japanese colonial era was also treated as an uncharted space and time. For him, Japanese colonial era brings us civilization, presents us with modern times, and is a noble experience that has taught us not to retire but to develop. And the completion of the values he cries out for leads to liberal democracy. For him, liberal democracy is mostly Rhee Syng-man, and the model country is the United States. In short, Lee Yeong-hoon's values of national identity, folklore, and traditional culture are the only remnants of beauty and retirement, which are directly related to the negative perception of shamanism. Therefore, the intention of this article is simple and clear. The move is aimed at accusing of his logic, which is packaged with academic and objectivity. He drove all of our arguments to racism and denounced our claims to Japanese imperialism as anti-Japanese agitation. This paper is a complaint against 'Anti-Japanese racism', which is too far from academic concepts, and the same pro-Japanese cheering slogans.

이 논문은 반일종족주의를 주장한 이영훈의 논리에 대한 학문적 비판을 시도한 글이다. 그의 반일종족주의는 우리 사회의 정리되지 않은 친일문제 가 잉태한 기형적 지식구조에 기반하고 있다. 즉 우리의 ‘회색적 지식사회 ‘에 편승한 그릇된 주장과 왜곡된 가치가 그의 주된 논리다. 이영훈에 있 어 반일종족주의는 논리의 도깨비방망이다. 그는 자기의 주장에 걸림돌이 되는 모든 가치를 ‘반일종족주의’로 몰아버렸다. 문제는 그러한 주장이 심정적이고 확증편향적이라는 데 있다. 그가 ‘반일종족주의’로 몰아세운 민 족, 단군, 백두산 등과 같은 요소들은 우리의 정체성과 뗄 수 없는 요소들 임에도, 그의 논리 속에서는 샤머니즘의 찌꺼기로 취급되고 있다. 또한 일 제강점기 이전 우리의 경험은 무의미한 가치들만 난무하는 미개의 시‧공간 이라는 안목이다. 그에게 일제강점기는 우리를 문명에 들게 하고 근대의 시간을 선물 했으며, 퇴영이 아닌 발전을 깨우쳐준 고귀한 경험기가 된다. 그리고 그가 외쳐대는 가치의 완성이 자유민주주의로 연결된다. 그에 있어 자유민주주의는 대부는 이승만이며, 그 모범 국가는 미국이다. 한마디로 이영훈에게 있어 민족의 고유성이나 민속, 전통문화 등등의 가치는 오로지 미개와 퇴영의 잔영으로, 샤머니즘이라는 부정적 인식과 그대로 통하는 것 이다. 그러므로 이 글의 의도는 단순, 명확하다. 학문성, 객관성으로 포장 된 이영훈의 논리를 고발하기 위함이다. 그는 우리 것을 주장하는 심경 자 체를 모두 종족주의로 몰아세우고, 일제에 대한 우리의 그러한 주장을 반 일선동주의로 매도해버렸다. 학문적 개념과는 너무 거리가 먼, 친일의 응 원구호와도 같은 ‘반일종족주의’의 외침에 대한 고발이 이 논문이다.
