Purpose : This study is to provide the basis for the activation of the Busan New Port hinterland and the surrounding regions. Research design, data, methodology : The procedure of conjoint analysis involved the selection of attributes, determination of the level of each attribute, data collection, and analysis of the collected data. The specific attributes of the facilities in the Ungdong Hinterland and the attribute cards of the facilities are shown in Tables 1 and 2, respectively. Results : The results of the conjoint analysis revealed that respondents had a higher preference for general office facilities among the business support facilities. This result showed the necessity for supplying offices that can be used for general office work around the hinterland. Conclusions : The preference for sales facilities is thought to reflect the fact that large-scale sales facilities or exhibition facilities related to logistics and transportation were not currently available near the Busan New Port, despite the fact that road freight transport accounts for 93.3% of the freight transportation in the Busan New Port.

부산신항 항만배후단지는 국내외 물류・제조 기업을 유치하고 항만인프라, 항만배후단지와 배후의 산업단지를 연계하여 항만물류의 중심지로 육성하고자 지정되었다. 물류와 비즈니스 의 연계 강화를 통하여 국제 항만물류 클러스터(Port Cluster)를 구축하여, 글로벌 선도항만 구 축, 미래 급격한 물류 환경변화 등 다양한 수요에 대응할 수 있는 지속적인 부지 확보를 위함 이었다. 웅동 1단계 항만배후단지에는 2013년에 첫 입주를 시작하여 현재는 37개 업체가 입주 중이며, 입주업종별로는 물류회사가 30개사이고 7개 회사는 제조업종이다. 그러나 현재 단지 내 입주한 기업들에 대한 업무지원 및 편의시설을 위한 부지는 조성되어 있으나 지원시설은 아직 없는 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 부산신항 배후단지 및 인근 터미널, 산업단지 등에 입주한 기업(이용자)의 사업추진을 지원할 수 있도록 웅동 1단계 항만배후단지 내 업무편의시 설 부지에 도입가능 지원시설과 업종 구체화 및 시행방안 제시 등을 통해 향후 항만배후단지 및 지역의 활성화 기반을 마련하고자 함이 본 논문의 목적이다.
