Sexual crime victims have emotional characteristics such as anger, hostility, shame, and anxiety as they re-experience trauma due to the psychological shock at the time of the incident. During the polygraph examination, regardless of whether the subject's statement is true or not, this emotion causes a psycho-physiological reaction to the question related to the case and affects the test result. Therefore, it is necessary to find a way to minimize the inconclusive rate and prove the actual truth by improving the accuracy of the polygraph examination results. The purpose of this study is to improve the accuracy of test results by deriving test questioning techniques suitable for victims of sex crimes by considering the emotional characteristics of victims of sex crimes. As a result of the study, significant results were obtained when DLCQ(directed lie control question) was used during the polygraph examination, and when a personal pronoun to refer to the perpetrator was used instead of the perpetrator's name in the relevant question(RQ).

성폭력 피해자의 경우 사건 당시의 심리적 충격으로 인해 외상(trauma)을 재경험하게 되면서 분노와 적개심, 수치심, 불안감과 같은 정서적 특성을 갖게 된다. 이러한 정서는 폴리그래프검사 시 피검사자 진술의 진위와 상관없이 사건 관련 질문에 심리생리적인 반응을 일으키게 하고 검사결과에도 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 폴리그래프검사 결과의 정확성 향상을 통해 판단불능률을 최소화하고 실체적 진실 을 입증할 수 있도록 하는 방법을 모색할 필요가 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 성폭력 피해자의 정서적 특성을 고려하여 성폭력 피해자인 피검사자들에게 적합한 검사질문 기법을 도출함으로써 검사결과의 정확도를 향상시키고자 하는 것이다. 연구 결과, 폴리그래프검사 시 통제질문(CQ)에 ‘지시된 거짓통제질문(DLCQ)’ 을 혼합하여 사용했을 경우와 관련질문(RQ)에 가해자의 이름 대신 가해자를 지칭하는 인칭대명사를 사용했을 경우에 유의미한 결과를 얻었다.
