Purpose : This study investigates Korea's Strategy for response to global trade environment changes and GVC reconfiguring. Research design, data, methodology : This study confirmed the meaning of mega-trends surrounding the GVC and the global trade environment, and further explored the possibility of changes and countermeasures that may occur through the interaction between various mega-trends. Results : The result suggests that in order to respond to changes in the trade environment, such as structural changes in globalization, trade tensions and policy uncertainties, as well as changes in consumer, business, and government perceptions of advanced technologies, digital platforms, and sustainable development that promote GVC reorganization, It was concluded that a customized strategy was needed for each worker. Conclusions : This result shows that It is urgent to establish a strategic cooperative relationship to cope with the reinforcement of protectionism, support adaptation to the global market of the high-tech industry to cope with the reorganization of the GVC, prepare international norms to promote trade in services such as the digital economy, and establish export promotion policies.

본 연구는 우리나라를 둘러싼 글로벌 통상환경 변화와 글로벌가치사슬(GVC) 재편에 대응하기 위한 우리의 대응방향을 모색하고자 하는 연구이다. 이를 위해 GVC와 글로벌 통상환경을 둘 러싼 메가트랜드, 그리고 그것이 함축하고 있는 의미에 대해 파악하고 나아가 각종 메가트렌 드들 간의 상호 작용을 통해 발생할 수 있는 변화 가능성과 대응방향에 대해 탐색하였다. GVC 재편을 촉진하는 첨단기술, 디지털 플랫폼, 지속가능한 발전에 대한 소비자, 기업, 정부의 인식변화는 물론 세계화의 구조적 변화, 무역긴장과 정책적 불확실성 등 통상환경 변화에 대 응하기 위하여 국가, 산업, 기업 및 근로자 등 개체별 맞춤형 전략이 요구된다. 나아가 전 세계 적으로 강화되고 있는 보호무역주의에 대응하기 위한 전략적 협력관계 구축 및 GVC 재편에 대응하기 위한 첨단기술산업의 글로벌 시장 적응 지원, 디지털 경제 등 서비스 교역 증진을 위한 국제규범 대응전략 마련 수립 등이 시급한 상황이다.
