This study used semantic network analysis, which is a method of identifying structure through analysis of word-to-word relationship, to analyze the objectives stated in the elementary school practical arts curriculum. The results of this study are as follows. First, the frequency analysis of the main key words for the objectives stated in the Elementary School Practical Arts Curriculum showed that the core word 'life' was high for each curriculum. Second, the analysis of connection centrality showed that 'life' was ranked first or higher in each curriculum. 'Life' was able to confirm that it was more central than the frequency of its appearances. Third, if you look at the network structure, you can see that the network is formed around 'life'. Suggestions are as follows. First, since the analysis is based on the objectives of the curriculum, a study comparing them with the learning objectives of textbooks used in the actual field is needed. Second, research is needed to find out what is being emphasized on content systems and achievement standards of the curriculum, teaching and evaluation.

본 연구는 이 연구에서는 교육과정 시기별로 요구하는 인재를 양성을 위해 함축적으로 표현된 초등 실과 교육과정에 진술된 목표를 분석을 통해 각 교육과정별로 목표의 강조점이 무엇인지를 확 인하기 위해 단어와 단어간 관계에 대한 분석을 통해 구조를 파악하는 방법인 언어 네트워크 분석 을 활용하였다. 주요한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등 실과 교육과정에 진술된 목표에 대한 주요 핵심어의 빈도분석을 실시한 결과 ‘생활’ 이라는 핵심어가 각 교육과정별로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 연결 중앙성을 분석한 결과, 각 교육과정 별로 ‘생활’이 1위 혹은 높은 순위로 나타났다. ‘생활’은 출연 빈도에 비해서 중앙성이 높음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 셋째, 네트워크 구조화를 살펴보면, ‘생활’을 중심으로 네트워크가 형성됨을 확인할 수 있다. 이 연구의 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육과정의 목표를 기초로 분석한 것이기 때문에 실제 현 장에서 사용되는 교과서의 학습 목표와의 비교하는 연구가 필요하다. 둘째, 교육과정의 성격, 목 표, 내용체계 및 성취기준, 교수학습 및 평가 등의 부분에 대해서도 강조되고 있는 것이 무엇인지 를 파악할 수 있는 연구가 필요하다.
