There has been chainging variously in the play arts derived from the Covid_19. In particular, the reality is that many of the theater's plays are being delayed due to social distinctions related to quarantine, only accepted in a small group audience, or released using broadcasting(on-line streaming system). While broadcasting is not the best way to present existing theatrical performances, it is necessary to examine the online relay system, which has become an alternative to Covid_19. In this circumstance, studying what is a more efficient method of video transmission for the theatrical performances is needed. In the process of visualizing theatrical performances, the audience's position in the theater changes to that of the viewers who watch the play through the video. In this situation, there are factors to consider in the process of visualizing and delivering theatrical performances in order to approach the audience and viewers in the same concept. This researcher didn’t want to approach the theater performance itself from the process of visualizing it likes a movie's expression, but from the way of broadcasting to more efficiently visualize and convey the realism of theater performances. In this regard, I will look at the four areas (set of relaying methods, presence of on-site audience, setting of camera methods, and setting of lighting) to see what is particularly suitable for live broadcasting of the play, and which parts of the performance production team and the video production team should review, decide, and collaborate in advance.

코로나_19로 인해 파생되는 여러 가지 사회적 변화에 있어 공연업계의 변화 또한 많은 부분 발생하고 있다. 특히 소극장에서 운영되는 연극작품들은 방역과 관련된 사회적 거리두기 등의 이유로 많은 공연들 이 공연 날짜를 연기하거나, 소규모의 인원을 대상으로 한 공연의 진행 또는 온라인 중계를 통한 방법으 로 현재의 상황에 대한 대응을 하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 기존 연극공연의 상연에 있어 중계를 통한 방 식이 최선의 방법은 아니겠으나, 코로나19로 인하여 나타난 대안으로서 자리잡아가고 있는 온라인 중계 시스템에 관하여 살펴보고 조금 더 효율적인 연극공연의 영상전달방식이 무엇인지 연구해야 할 필요가 있어지고 있다. 이는 연극공연을 영상화 하는 과정속에서 극장에서 연극을 보는 관객의 입장이 영상을 통해 시청하게끔 되는 시청자의 입장으로 변화하는 측면에서 고려해야 할 상황들이 발생하게 된다. 이러 한 상황에서 연극공연을 영상화 하여 전달하는 과정에 있어 관객과 시청자를 동일한 개념으로 접근하기 위해 영상화 하는 과정에서 고려해야 할 요소들이 있다. 본 연구자는 연극공연 자체를 영화의 표현방식 처럼 영상화 하는 과정이 아닌, 연극공연의 현장성을 조금 더 효율적으로 영상화하여 전달하는 중계의 방식에서 접근하고자 한다. 이러한 부분에 있어, 4개의 영역(중계 방식의 설정, 현장관객의 유무, 촬영방 식의 설정, 조명 설정)으로 크게 구분하여 연극 중계 방식에 있어 특히 온라인 생중계를 할 때 적합한 방 법은 무엇인지, 그리고 그러한 과정 속에서 공연제작팀과 영상제작팀 각각 어떤 부분을 사전 검토하고 결정하여 협업해야 할 것인지 살펴보고자 한다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 영상이라는 매체를 통해 제공 되어 지는 연극공연이 연극의 범주에 속하는지 그렇지 않은지를 논하는 것이 아닌, 코로나 시대에 대응하기 위한 대안 중 발생한 방법 중 한가지로서 접근하고자 한다.
