Based on the data regarding the survival and development of the floating population in China's capital Beijing in 2013, this paper aims to explore the impact of different living patterns on migrant workers' mass accidents and its mechanism. According to the findings, the rental housing mode would increase the migrant workers' participation degree of mass accidents and the willingness to participate in mass accidents regarding interest loss, but reduce the willingness to participate in mass accidents without direct conflict of interest; dormitory living style would reduce the migrant workers' participation degree of mass accidents and the willingness to participate in mass accidents regarding interest loss, but increases the willingness to participate in mass accidents without direct conflict of interest. Self-housing has no impact on migrant workers' mass accidents . Regarding the impact of dormitory living mode on the willingness to participate mass accidents with interest loss, the migrant workers' social network is the important mediating . Hence, while further improving the rights and interests protection system of migrant workers in interest loss, the government could provide preferential housing policies for migrant workers, timely dredge the negative emotions in the social network of migrant workers, and reduce the risk of mass accidents.
