This study analyzes the activities and significance of the Union of the Old Korean people(Dae-Han kuk min noin dongmaengdan) formed as a result of the March 1 Independence Movement in the Primosky Krai Region(Yonhaeju), which was formed as a result of the March 1 Independence Movement in Korea. and The other purpose is to draw future tasks. The research method is mainly data analysis consisted of articles, books, name list, etc. Which is connect to the Union of the Old Korean people. The main research results are First, the Unon of the Old Korean people played a symbolic role in the anti-Japanese independence struggle that encompassed all korean people. Second, even though they were old people, the Union of the Old Korean people spread the will of independence from Japan to the world by unfolding the assassin struggle. Third, the Union of the Old Korean people actively engaged in the diplomatic struggle, an important feature of the Union of the Old Korean people. They sent the official letter to the Japanese government, Japanese king, and the governor in Korea, and submitted a petition for independence to the Paris Peace Conference. Fourth, based on their knowledge, they educated the Korean people about the proud Korea ancient history, so aroused a national soul, so mentally and physically opposed the Japanese imperialism. Fifth, these activities of the Union of the Old Korean people activities and struggles of passion raised the young people's national consciousness, strengthening the will of independence, and also the Union of the Old Korean people showed through actions that he would fight until Korea became independent. These kinds of characteristics are very natural struggle that comes from elders who are mature in their knowledge and experience. As a future task First, despite the symbolicity of the Union of the Old Korean people, there are no many research results. It is necessary to collect and analyze related data scattered in Russia and Japan. It is necessary to identify the total size and categorize it by country, region, and gender. Second, there is a need to build a historical or memorial hall for the Unon of the Old Korean people in Vladivostok where the Union of the Old Korean people was formed. It is necessary to display the collected data in that hall space and for national history education. Third, The government should investigate the independence activists in the Union of the Old Korean people. and must decorate to them. On the dedication of the Union of the Old Korean people members struggled for there independence, government must do its all responsibilities through decoration and courtesy.

이 연구는 국내 3·1독립만세운동의 영향으로 러시아 연해주에서 일어난 연해주 3·1독 립만세운동과 그 결과 결성된 대한국민노인동맹단(이하 노인동맹단)의 활동과 의의를 분석 하고 향후 과제를 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 주로 노인동맹단 관련 논문과 저서, 노인동맹단 명부, 러시아 연해주 현지 방문을 통해 수집한 자료 분석의 방법으로 이뤄졌다. 1919년 국내에서 발생한 3·1독립만세운동은 전국과 전 세계 한인 디아스포라사회로 확 산되었다. 러시아 연해주는 이미 1919년 2월 임시정부인 대한국민의회를 선언하였으며 연 해주 3·1독립만세운동을 계기로 기존 단체를 확대개편하거나 신설하는 등 적극적으로 연 해주 한인들과 독립투사들을 결집시켜 일제에 대항하고자 하였다. 주요 연구결과는 첫째, 노인동맹단은 전 민족, 전 계층을 망라한 항일독립투쟁의 상징적 역할을 하였다는 점이다. 둘째, 노인동맹단은 당시 노인의 나이임에도 불구하고 의열투쟁을 전개하여 한민족의 독립의지를 세계에 전파하였다. 셋째, 노인동맹단의 중요한 특징인 외교 투쟁을 적극적으로 하였다. 즉 일본정부, 일왕, 총독에게 서한을 보내고 파리강화회의에 독 립청원서를 제출하였다. 넷째, 자신들의 지식을 기반으로 한민족에게 자랑스러운 고대역사 를 교육하여 민족혼을 불러 일으켜 정신적으로 육체적으로 일제에 대항하였다는 점이다. 다 섯째, 이러한 노인동맹단의 활약과 의열투쟁은 젊은이들로 하여금 민족의식을 고취시키고 독립의지를 강화시켜 독립할 때 까지 투쟁할 것을 행동을 통해 보여주었다. 이러한 특징들 은 학문과 경험이 완숙한 원로들에게서 나오는 자연스러운 투쟁이라고 할 수 있다. 향후 과제는 첫째, 노인동맹단의 상징성에도 불구하고 연구 성과가 많지 않은 것이 현실 이다. 러시아와 일본 등에 산재되어 있는 관련 자료를 수집하여 분석할 필요가 있다. 전체 규모가 얼마나 되는지 파악하여 국가별, 출신지역별, 성별 등으로 분류할 필요가 있다. 둘 째, 노인동맹단이 결성된 러시아 연해주에 노인동맹단의 사료관 또는 기념관 건립할 필요가 있다. 이 공간에 수집된 자료를 전시하여 민족 역사교육의 공간으로 만들어 조성할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 노인동맹단에서 활동했던 독립운동가들의 공적을 조사하여 정부의 서훈 추서가 이뤄져야 한다. 나라가 없을 때 나라를 찾기 위한 노인동맹단원들의 헌신에 대하여 국가는 서훈 추서와 예우를 통해 그 책무를 다해야 한다.
