The purpose of this study is to analyze a difference in expectations for a living standard and life satisfaction among the elderly aged 65 or older depending on whether or not to participate in work. In this study, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, t-test and ANOVA were conducted using the 7th data of the Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that the difference between the work-participating group and the non-work-participating group was statistically significant in the expectation of one's living standard and the expectation of the child's living standard. Second, in terms of the difference between the two groups on the satisfaction of health condition, the work-participating group was found to be higher than the non-work-participating group. Third, it was found that the work-participating group was statistically significantly higher than the non-work-participating group in the satisfaction of economic condition. Fourth, in satisfaction with the overall quality of life, the work-participating group was statistically significantly higher than the non-work-participating group. Fifth, according to the type of work participation, there were statistically significant differences among four groups in satisfaction with the economic condition and satisfaction with the overall quality of life.

본 연구는 65세 이상 노인을 대상으로 일 참여 여부에 따라 생활 수준에 대한 기대감 및 삶의 만족에 차이가 나타나는지를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 고령화 패녈 7차 자료를 활용하여 기술통계분석, 상관분석, t-검증, ANOVA를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자신의 노후 생활 수준에 대한 기대감과 자식의 노후 생활 수준에 대한 기대감에서 일 참여 집단과 일 미참여 집단의 차이가 통계적으로 유 의한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 건강 상태 만족에 대한 집단 간 차이에서 일 참여 집단이 일 미참여 집단 보다 높은 것으로 나타났고, 이는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 경제 상태 만족에서 일 참여 집단이 일 미참여 집단 보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 전반적인 삶의 질에 대한 만족에서 일 참여 집단이 일 미 참여 집단 보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 일 참여 유형에 따 라 경제 상태에 대한 만족과 전반적 삶의 질에 대한 만족에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이 가 나타났다.
