In this study, we started with the question of how we creatively visualized the songs in an album using some representational methods, and using images from the album cover. With the mobile environment becoming even more active these days, unlike the past, album covers and album jackets have evolved into the area of album cover art for some enthusiast directors. In this research, after focusing on the image of the idol album cover, which is the center of the current Korean wave, and applying a depaysement, after narrowing the focus ,and extracting the types, the visual characteristics of each type are extracted. It is a research that was done. A literature survey for the study considered the depaysement as it has already been validated in the study of album cover image-music correlations, album cover design history, recent music consumption tendencies ,and surreal expression techniques. Since 2010, the characteristics of the visual expression of the analysis type have been extracted from the design examples of the domestic album cover, by the technical application of the depaysement ,and visual elements, and the expression content of the album cover. It is hoped that this will re-illuminate the role of the design of the album jacket that reflects the era, enhances the artistic holding value, and contributes in part to the new movement of the record industry.

본 연구는 음반커버의 이미지를 통해 앨범 안의 곡 들을 어떤 표현 방법을 통해 창의적으로 시각화했는 지에 대한 의문에서 출발한 연구이다. 모바일 환경이 더욱 활성화된 요즘은 과거와는 달리 음반커버나 음 반재킷은 일부 마니아층의 소장을 위한 앨범커버 아 트 영역으로 발전해가고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 한류의 중심이 되는 아이돌 음반커버 이미지를 중심 으로 데페이즈망이 적용된 사례로 초점을 좁혀 유형 을 추출한 후 각각의 유형이 가지는 시각적 특성을 추출한 연구이다. 연구를 위한 문헌연구는 음반커버 이미지와 음악의 상관성, 음반커버디자인의 역사, 최 근 음악의 소비성향 그리고 초현실적 이미지 표현기 법 연구에 이미 검증된 데페이즈망을 고찰하였다. 2010년 이후 국내 음반커버디자인 사례를 데페이 즈망 지법 응용과 시각 요소, 음반커버의 표현 내용 세 가지로 분석해 유형별 시각 표현 특성을 추출하였 다. 이를 통해 시대성이 반영된 음반커버디자인의 역 할을 재조명하고 예술적 소장 가치를 높여 음반산업 의 새로운 움직임에 일부분 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.
