With artificial intelligence-based systems being introduced in design production, the degree and scope of designers' acceptance may vary depending on their perception of autonomy as the main body of production. The autonomy of AI should include both creativity and practice, as design must be designed to interpret ideas creatively and to actually use what is expressed in the design results. This study conducted a designer's perception survey on whether artificial intelligence can be produced independently based on "autonomy." The survey method selected nine AI cases in various fields of visual design content production, and analyzed the impact on autonomy by placing autonomy as dependent variables, 'creative' and 'working' as independent variables, and emotions in the acceptance process as control variables. The results showed that creativity and practicality were affecting autonomy in the production of artificial intelligence designs, but emotional factors did not affect the process. Although the emotional response came out negative for AI, it can be interpreted as a temporary cognitive dissonance that occurred in the process of accepting the new system. The design practice of AI with autonomy is created with the scope and direction to be applied according to the perception of the accepting designer. Therefore, it is necessary to lay the foundations for the development of AI-based design production system by conducting continuous research on the recognition of designers who accept AI.

디자인 제작에서 인공지능 기반 시스템이 도입되고 있는 가운데 제작의 주체로서 자율성에 대한 인식에 따라 디자이너가 수용하는 정도와 범위가 달라질 수 있다. 디자인은 아이디어를 독창적으로 해석하고 이 를 디자인 결과물에 표현한 바를 실제로 사용할 수 있도록 제작해야하기 때문에 AI의 자율성에도 이 두 가지, 창조성과 실무적합성이 모두 포함되어야 한다. 본 연구는 인공지능이 독립적으로 제작할 수 있는가 의 여부를 ‘자율성’에 두고 이에 대한 디자이너의 인식조사를 진행하였다. 조사방법은 시각디자인 콘텐 츠 제작의 AI 사례를 다양한 분야에서 8가지를 선정 하여, 자율성을 종속변수로, ‘창조성’과 ‘실무적합 성’을 독립변수로, 수용과정에서의 감정을 조절변수 로 자율성에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 그 결과 AI 의 디자인 제작에서 나타나는 ‘창조성’, ‘실무적 합성’이 영향을 주어 자율성이 있다고 인식하는 것 으로 나왔으나 이 과정에서 감정요소가 영향을 주지 는 않았다. 감정반응이 AI에 대하여 부정적으로 나왔 으나 이는 새로운 시스템을 받아들이는 과정에서 발 생한 일시적인 인지부조화 상태인 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 자율성을 가지는 AI의 디자인 실무는 수용하는 디자이너의 인식에 따라 적용할 범위와 방향성이 형 성된다. 따라서 AI를 수용하는 디자이너의 인식에 대하여 지속적인 연구를 진행함으로써 AI 기반 디자인 제작 시스템이 발전적으로 정착될 토대를 마련할 필요가 있다.
