With the development of higher education and the emphasis in college education service quality, research on the relationships between college faculty and staff and the so-called ‘student-consumer’ as well as educational satisfaction has become increasingly important. The purpose of this research is to explore the impact of student–faculty relationship quality on the educational satisfaction, self-confidence in getting a job, and career aspirations. The proposed hypotheses were tested using the empirical data collected from 200 students majoring in hotel & tourism management, hotel beverage management and culinary arts & hotel food service. Based on the data analysis, findings indicate that first, trust in faculty and staff and affective commitment have a positive impact on the educational satisfaction and career aspirations and affective commitment and second, satisfaction have a positive effect on self-confidence in getting a job. Third, the educational services satisfaction has a positive influence on career aspirations. Lastly, he educational satisfaction, and career aspirations influences positively self-confidence in getting a job. Based on the findings, meaningful implications are discussed to achieve better academic outcomes such as better educational satisfaction and boost of self-confidence in getting a job and career aspirations.

고등교육의 발전과 더불어 교육수요자인 학생들에 대한 교육서비스 품질의 중요성이 강조되면서 교 육만족 뿐만 아니라 학생과 교직원 간의 관계에 대한 연구가 점점 더 중요해지고 있다. 본 연구의 목적 은 학생-교수의 관계의 질이 교육만족, 진로포부, 취업자신감에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 경기도 북부 에 위치한 K대학교 학생들을 중심으로 분석하였다. 자료 수집은 2020년 7월 13일부터 7월 24일까지 약 2주간 의정부에 위치한 K대학교 호텔관광경영 학과, 호텔외식조리학과 1, 2학년 학생 200명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 학생-교수 관계의 질 중 교수신뢰와 감정적 몰입은 교육만족과 진로포부에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 학생-교수 관계의 질 중 감정적 몰입과 만족은 취업자신감에 유의한 정(+) 의 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 교육만족은 진로포부에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 교육만족과 진로 포부는 취업자신감에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 결론에서는 학생-교수 관계의 질이 교육만족, 진로 포부, 취업자신감에 미치는 영향을 알아봄으로써 교육성과로서 교육만족의 향상방안과 학생들의 진로 포부와 취업자신감을 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
