This study aimed to categorize the trends in the dissertations on danso education published from the 1980s to the 2010s by year, school, research target, research topic, and research method. By year, the number of papers was largest in the 2000s, increased from the 1980s to the 2000s, and decreased in the 2010s. By school, the number of paper publications was exceptionally higher for Chung Ang University. By school type, Graduate schools of education had most publications. The number of schools issuing papers increased from the 1980s to the 1990s and decreased largely in the 2010s. By research target, elementary school students were the most. The number of research targets increased from the 1980s to the 2000s and decreased slightly in the 2010s. By research topic, proposals for teaching plans (step-by-step teaching plans) were the most, and the number of research topics increased in the 1990s and remained the same until the 2010s. By research method, qualitative+quantitative studies were the most, and the topic that used qualitative studies, quantitative studies, and qualitative+quantitative studies all was textbook analysis. The number of research methods increased slightly in the 1990s and remained the same until the 2010s. As danso education is still being steadily conducted in the front-line educational field, continuous discussions on danso education and research on novel and various topics should be mass-produced.

본고는 1980년대부터 2010년대까지 발행된 단소교육 학위논문의 동향을 연대별⋅학교별 ⋅대상별⋅주제별⋅연구방법별로 분류하여 살펴본 연구이다. 연대별로는 2000년대에 가장 많은 논문수를 보였으며, 논문의 수는 1980년대부터 2000년 대까지 증가하다가 2010년대에 감소하였다. 학교별로는 중앙대의 논문 발행 횟수가 월등히 많았고, 학교의 유형별로는 교육대학원의 발행 횟수가 가장 많았다. 발행학교의 수는 1980년 대부터 1990년대까지 증가하다가 2010년대에 대폭 감소하였다. 대상별로는 초등학생 대상 이 가장 많았으며, 연구대상의 수는 1980년대부터 2000년대까지 증가하다가 2010년대에 소 폭 감소하였다. 주제별로는 교육 방안 제시(단계적 지도 방안)가 가장 많았고, 연구주제의 수는 1990년대에 증가하여 2010년대까지 동일하게 유지되었다. 연구방법별로는 질적연구+ 양적연구가 가장 많았고, 질적연구⋅양적연구⋅질적연구+양적연구가 모두 쓰인 주제는 교과 서 및 교본 분석이었으며, 연구방법의 수는 1990년대에 소폭 증가하여 2010년대까지 동일하 게 이어졌다. 일선 교육현장에서는 현재까지도 꾸준히 단소교육이 이루어지고 있는 만큼, 단소교육에 대한 끊임없는 논의와 참신하고 다양한 주제의 연구가 양산되어야 할 것이다.
