Inventions of various tools(tools) have greatly contributed to the development of humankind. Since entering the present age, the usability of ceramic storage containers has been greatly reduced by being pushed by plastic materials. However, the fact that the shape according to the application has not changed significantly up to the present and that it continues, means that its importance is still recognized, and detailed research is needed. The outside of the storage container was decorated with sculptures and paintings expressing various shapes, and symbolic expressions were used to convey meaning. However, the inside of the container was emptied to maintain the storage function. In this research, I tried to re-recognize the inside of these ceramic containers and to find a way to visualize the space. Through the concept of internal space, we grasped the characteristics of the space that occurs between the outside and the inside, and considered the visual expression using this. The inside has various artistic possibilities in non-reproducible places, and the hidden space provokes interest to spectators. Therefore, this researcher applied abstraction, concrete decoration and formation of space to the internal space, and presented a new form of covered bowl. By doing so, we focused on the simultaneous execution of internal and external visual contact, and placed importance on the aesthetic elements that were visible before filling the space. Also, using a new approach, we investigated the possibilities of various expressions beyond the scope of limited external decoration.

다양한 용구 의 발명은 인류의 발전에 크게 기여했다 (用具) . 현대에 들어 도자 저장용기는 플라스틱 소재에 밀려 사용성이 크게 감소하였다. 그러나 현재까지 용도에 맞는 형태가 크게 변하지 않고 이어 지고 있다는 것은 그 중요성이 여전히 인식되고 있다는 것을 의미하며 심도 있는 연구가 필요하다. 저 장용기의 외부는 다양한 형상을 표현한 조각이나 그림으로 장식되기도 하고 상징적 표현을 이용해 의 미를 전달하기도 하였다. 하지만 용기의 내부는 저장기능을 유지하기 위해 비워졌다. 본 연구는 이러한 도자 용기의 내부에 관해 재인식하고 그 공간을 시각화하는 방법을 찾고자 하였 다. 내부 공간의 개념을 통해 외부와 내부 사이에서 발생하는 공간의 특성을 파악하고, 이를 활용한 시각적 표현에 대해 고찰하였다. 내부는 비재현적인 장소로 다양한 예술적 활용의 가능성을 지니며, 숨겨진 공간은 관람자로 하여금 흥미를 유발한다. 이에 본 연구자는 내부 공간에 추상적, 구상적 장식과 공간형성을 적용하여 새로운 형식의 합을 제 시하였다. 이를 통해 내외적 시각 접촉에 대한 동시성에 주안점을 두고, 공간을 채우기 전 보이는 심 미적 요소에 의의를 두었다. 또한 새로운 접근 방식을 통해 한정된 외부 장식의 범위를 넘어 다양한 표현 가능성을 연구하였다.
