The current state of logic and critical thinking education is inconsistent with the opinions of scholars who mainly study critical thinking. For instance, they insist on separating logic education from critical thinking, but this demand has not been realized. The main argument of that scholars to separate logical and critical thinking education is related to the formality of logic. In reviewing the arguments put forth by them, we will present a new educational model in this article that considers the current educational situation. Our argument consists of two parts: One is that critical thinking should be taught critically. In other words, the critical thinking method for other disciplines should also be applied to critical thinking itself. The other is that through this education, we can revise evaluation of logic. The problem of formality can be overcome by a critical understanding of the basic concepts of logic and the rules of reasoning. In this regard, we will consider 'the principle of explosion,' which claims that everything can be inferred from contradiction and 'vagueness,' which reveals natural language characteristics.

논리학과 비판적 사고 교육의 현실은 비판적 사고를 주로 연구하는 학자들의 주장과 배치된다. 예를 들어, 그들 중 상당수는 논리교육과 비판적 사고 교육을 분리할 것을 주장하지만, 비판적 사고 교육의 현실은 그렇지 못한다. 그들이 논리교육과 비판적 사고 교육을 분리할 것을 주장하는 주요 논거는 논리학이 갖는 형식성과 관련된다. 필자는 이 글에서 이러한 주장을 검토하면서, 현재의 교육 현실을 감안한 대안을 제시하고자 한다. 필자의 주장은 두 부분으로 구성된다. 하나는 비판적 사고를 비판적으로 교육해야 한다는 것, 즉 다른 학문에 대해 비판적으로 학습하는 방법을 비판적 사고에도 적용해야 한다는 것이다. 다른 하나는 이러한 교육을 통해 논리학에 대한 평가를 수정할 수 있다는 것이다. 논리학의 기초개념이나 추론 규칙에 대한 비판적 평가와 학습을 통해 논리학이 갖는 형식성의 문제를 극복할 수 있다는 것이다. 이와 관련해서, 필자는 모순으로부터 모든 것이 추론된다는 폭파원리와 자연언어의 특성을 잘 드러내는 모호성의 사례를 제시할 것이다.
