- This paper aims to provide a grammatical analysis of the vulgarcolloquial intensifier puto, particularly, in its use as adjective and prefix. These semantically bleached elements make the denotation of the constituents appearing in their scope apply exhaustively with all its consequences, and in that they differ from quantifiers. I argue that the adjective is a direct modifier which places in an upper layer of the domain assigned to modifiers of this class within the DP. On the other hand, the prefix is associated with the functional category encoding the [+realis] feature without forming part of the internal structure of the constituent to which it eventually attaches. String-vacuous Local Dislocation, an operation triggered by its phonological features, is introduced to give account of its adjunction to the linearly adjacent constituent.

- Este trabajo tiene por objeto realizar un análisis gramatical del intensificador vulgar-coloquial puto, en particular, en su uso como adjetivo y prefijo. Estos elementos semánticamente vacíos dan lugar a que la acepción de los constituyentes que aparecen en su alcance se aplique exhaustivamente con todas sus consecuencias y en ello difieren de los cuantificadores. Argumentamos que el adjetivo es un modificador directo que se halla en una zona alta del dominio asignado a los modificadores de esta clase en el SD. Por otra parte, el prefijo se asocia a la categoría funcional que codifica el rasgo [+realis] sin integrar en la estructura interna del constituyente al que se adjunta. La dislocación local no inversora, una operación que tiene lugar debido a sus rasgos fonológicos, se introduce para explicar su amalgamiento al constituyente linealmente adyacente.
