The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of life satisfaction on the effects of multicultural adolescent's achievement motivation on career decision. To purpose of this study, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted using the data for adolescents in the 6th year(2016) of the ‘Multicultural Adolescents Panel Survey(MAPS)’ established by the National Youth Policy Institute, and the mediating effect of life satisfaction is statistical. Sobel test was performed to see if it was significant. As a result of the analysis, first, the achievement motivation was found to have a statistically significant effect on career decision. Second, achievement motivation was found to have a statistically significant effect on life satisfaction. Third, achievement motivation was found to have a statistically significant effect on career decision, and life satisfaction was also found to have a significant effect on career decision. In particular, it was found that the life satisfaction was partly mediated by the influence of motivation for achievement of multicultural adolescents on career decision. Based on this study results, it is necessary to expand overall career support for multicultural adolescents, and in order to improve career decision for multicultural adolescents, it is necessary to further enhance the motivation of achievement and life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents along with direct support for careers. Suggested that support was needed. In addition, the limitations of this study were presented and suggestions for subsequent studies were made.

본 연구는 다문화 청소년의 성취동기가 진로결정성에 미치는 영향에서 삶의 만족도 의 매개효과를 살펴보기 위한 목적에서 수행되었다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원 에서 구축한 ‘다문화청소년패널조사’의 6차년도(2016) 청소년용 데이터를 활용하여 빈 도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 하였고, 삶의 만족도의 매개효과가 통 계적으로 유의한지 살펴보기 위하여 Sobel test를 하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 성취동기는 진 로결정성에 정(+)적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다(β=.29, p<.001). 둘째, 성취동기가 삶의 만족도에 정(+)적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다(β=.36, p<.001). 셋째, 성취동기는 진로결정성에 정(+)적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 가운데(β =.23, p<.001), 삶의 만족도도 진로결정성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다(β =.17, p<.001). 특히 다문화 청소년의 성취동기가 진로결정성에 미치는 영향에서 삶의 만 족도는 부분적으로 매개하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 다문화 청소년에 대한 전반적인 진로지원이 확대될 필요가 있으며, 다문화 청소년의 진로결정 성을 향상시키기 위해서는 진로에 대한 직접적인 지원과 함께, 다문화 청소년의 성취동 기, 삶의 만족도를 보다 증진시키는 지원이 필요하다는 점을 제언하였다. 또한 본 연구의 한계를 제시하였고, 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.
