This study secured diversity in the study of nongak and grasped the characteristics of the rhythm and nongak form as a playful element through the study of the play elements of Daejeon Udari nongak. Through the elements of music, dance, play, and circus in Yeon-hee, the audience was examined academically. This confirmed the traditional and excellent performance of Daejeon Utdari Nongak. Udari Nongak was loved by the public as a performing art and sought the possibility of developing into a popular culture. The study found that the elements of Daejeon Udari Nongak's performance are largely music, dance, theater and circus elements. As for musical elements, Chilchae rhythm is connected to Samchae rhythm, and there are four rhythms used for Gutgeori dance, and this structure is repeated. These rhythms have musical features that match sangmo nori. The dance elements were found in musical instruments in front of the rider and procession, and sangmo nori and dance performed during the performance after the procession. The theatrical elements show that the use of satire and slangs in the jokes of the banns, salpan and miscellaneous colors creates interest and leads the audience to the playground. The circus is featured in individual games of Verna and Salpan, and is characterized by jokes. The circus part also appears in Sogo pangut nori and Mudong flower stand. This study identified the characteristics of music, dance, theater, and circus, which are the playful elements of Daejeon Woodari Nongak. However, Daejeon Utdari Nongak is the No. 1 intangible cultural asset of Daejeon Metropolitan City and aims to inherit and preserve tradition, and it is also true that there is a possibility that the elements of entertainment can be distorted from the perspective of modern pop art. Therefore, if we classify the elements of Daejeon Woodari Nongak and analyze the form of the play according to the times, we can come up with a plan for sustainable development of Daejeon Woodari Nongak as a Yeonhui Nongak.

본 연구는 대전웃다리농악의 연희적 요소에 대한 연구를 통해 농악연구의 다양성을 확보하고 연희적 요소로서 장단 및 판제에서 나타나는 특징들을 파악하였다. 연희에서 나타나는 음악적․ 무용적 요소와 연극적 요소를 확인하여 기예적 요소를 통해 관객과 어떻게 소통하는지를 학문적으로 검토하였다. 이를 통해 대전웃다리농악의 연희적 전통성과 우수성을 확인하고, 이를 통해 농악이 공연예술로 대중에게 사랑받고 대중문화로의 발전가능성을 모색하였다. 연구 결과 대전웃다리농악의 연희적 요소는 크게 음악적, 무용적, 연극적, 기예적 요소로 나타나고 있다. 음악적 요소로는 칠채의 기경결해와 칠채속에 삼채를 붙여서 연결하는 것, 그리고 풍년굿(굿거리춤)에 쓰이는 장단이 4장단으로 되어 있고, 기승결해의 구조를 가지고 있는 점과 삼채장단이 기경결해의 구조로 반복 연주되고 있으며, 이 장단들은 상모짓과 일치가 되고 있는 음악적 특징을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 무용적 요소들은 기수·앞치배·뒷치배들이 공연 중에 벌이는 상모놀음과 춤 등을 찾아볼 수 있었다. 연극적 요소로는 버나와 살판 그리고 잡색들의 재담에서 시대를 풍자한다던지 비속어를 사용함으로써 흥미를 유발하고 관객들을 놀이판으로 유도하는 것을 알 수 있다. 기예적 요소로는 버나와 살판의 개인놀이에서 나타나며, 재담이 곁들여진 것이 특징이다. 또한 소고 판굿놀이와 무동꽃받기에서도 기예적인 부분이 나타난다. 본 연구는 대전웃다리농악의 연희적 요소인 음악, 무용, 연극, 기예의 성격이 어떻게 나타나고 있는지에 대하여 규명하였다. 그러나 대전웃다리농악은 대전광역시 무형문화재 제1호로서 전통을 계승하고 보존하는데 그 목적을 두고 있으며, 이는 현대 대중예술의 관점에서 연희적 요소가 왜곡될 수 있는 개연성이 존재하는 것도 사실이다. 따라서 시대별 대전웃다리농악의 연희적 요소를 분류하고 시대적 흐름에 따른 연희형태를 분석한다면 연희농악으로서 대전웃다리농악의 지속가능한 발전방안을 도출할 수 있을 것이다.
