The purpose of this study was to identify the levels of job-seeking stress, depression, and entrapment in university students, and to examine the mediating effects of entrapment on the effects of job-seeking stress on depression. For this purpose, a questionnaire was conducted for students from two universities in K and J cities, and 256 cases were used for the final statistical analysis. In this study, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and regression analysis were performed using the SPSS & AMOS program. Also, Sobel Test was conducted to verify the mediation effect. The main results are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the level of each variable in this study, the job-seeking stress average was 2.41, the depression average was .90, and the entrapment average was 2.44. Second, job-seeking stress, depression, entrapment, internal entrapment, and external entrapment of university students had positive correlations. Third, in the relationship between job-seeking stress and depression, internal entrapment and external entrapment, which are sub-factors of entrapment and entrapment, have partial mediating effects. In other words, the higher the level of job-seeking stress, the higher the level of entrapment, and the higher the level of depression. This study confirm that entrapment is more directly related to the depression that university students may experience to job-seeking stress, the significance lies in the fact that the development and implementation of systematic education and counseling programs that can reduce the feelings of entrapment can contribute to reducing the depression of university students.

본 연구는 대학생의 취업스트레스, 우울증 및 속박감의 수준을 파악하고 취업스트레스가 우울에 미 치는 영향에서 속박감의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 K시와 J시에 소재하는 2개 대학의 재학생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 256부를 최종 통계 분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구에서는 SPSS와 AMOS 프로그램을 사용하여 신뢰도분석, 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석, 확인적 요인분석, 회귀분석을 실 시하였다. 또한 매개효과의 검증을 위해 Sobel Test를 실시하였으며, 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구에서 각 변수의 수준을 분석한 결과 취업스트레스 평균은 2.41, 우울 평균은 .90, 속박 감 평균은 2.44인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 취업스트레스, 우울, 속박감, 내적속박감, 외적속박 감은 모두 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 취업스트레스와 우울의 관계에서 속박감 및 속박 감의 하위요인인 내적속박감과 외적속박감은 부분 매개 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 취업스트레 스 수준이 높을수록 속박감 수준이 높아지며, 이를 통해 우울 수준이 높아진다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 대학생들이 취업스트레스로 인해 겪을 수 있는 우울에 속박감이 보다 직접적으로 관련 있 는 변인임을 확인함으로써 대학생들의 속박감을 감소시킬 수 있는 체계적인 교육 및 상담프로그램의 개발ㆍ실시가 대학생들의 우울을 감소시키는데 기여할 수 있다는 것을 밝혀낸 점에서 그 의의를 찾아 볼 수 있다.
