This paper is a study of the hangeul manuscripts which were produced during the wedding ceremony of Crown Prince Yi Cheok, later King Sunjong, to the new crown princess Yun and her coming-of-age ceremony. A total of 26 extant hangeul manuscripts are examined: 1 investiture letter, 8 portable records of ritual protocols, and 10 item lists related to the wedding ceremony, and 1 letter of felicitation, 5 portable records of ritual protocols, and 1 item list related to Crown Princess Yun’s coming-of-age ceremony. The production background and purpose of each hangeul manuscript are examined in terms of its physical form, contents, and records contained in royal protocols. Hence, it can be verified that these hangeul manuscripts were specially produced to assist court servants, female court servants in particular, who participated in the rituals in which Crown Princess Yun was involved to proceed and prepare for the rituals. Female court servants used the investiture letter, letter of felicitation, and portable records of ritual protocols aids in proceeding with the rituals or to announce the procedures of the ceremony; item lists were used as detailed records of preparing various items before and after the ceremony.

본 연구는 대한제국의 황태자 이척(李坧, 훗날의 純宗)이 새로운 황태자비 윤씨를 맞이하는 의례를 거행하는 과정에 서 제작된 한글 문헌에 관한 연구이다. 혼례와 관련된 한글 문헌은 책문(冊文) 1건, 홀기(笏記) 8건, 발기(件記) 10건이 며, 황태자비 윤씨의 관례와 관련된 한글 문헌은 축사(祝辭) 1건, 홀기 5건, 발기 1건으로 총 26건이 현전한다. 본고에서는 한글 문헌들을 중심으로 개별 문헌의 형태와 내용, 의궤 등의 기록을 통해 제작 배경 및 용도에 대해 살펴보았다. 이에 따라 황태자비 윤씨가 참여하는 의례를 중심으로 한글 문헌이 별도로 제작되었으며, 이를 보조하는 실무자 내인들 의 의례 진행 및 준비를 돕는 목적이 강함을 확인할 수 있었다. 책문ㆍ축사ㆍ홀기는 내인들의 의례 진행 및 낭독을 돕는 보조 도구로 사용되었으며, 발기는 의례 전후 내인들이 준비해야 하는 각종 물품의 내역서로서 활용되었다.
