This study analyzed the factors influencing the amount of money transferred to home countries by foreign workers in Jeonbuk. We divided foreign workers into the areas of socio - demographic characteristics, residential environment characteristics, social characteristics and communication characteristics. As a result, gender and marital status among the socio-demographic characteristics showed a significant effect on remittance. As for the environmental characteristics of living, family accompanying status, vocational education and the type of residence were found to have a statistically significant effect on remittance. Therefore, this study concluded that the role of their complementary capacity for the sustainable management of the labor intensive 3D industries was more important than the negative perception of remittance by foreign workers due to the shortage of the working age population and the era of aging society . Finally we requires a sustainable immigration policy, family based immigration for the continuous influx of foreign workers and stabilization of their life in Korea. In addition, to minimize illegal stays and human rights violations of foreign workers, vocational education programs must be mandatory after entry into Korea. During training period, government should offer living wages appropriate for the level of trainees and link the workplace suitable for their aptitude and ability.

본 연구는 국가간 노동이동이 주요한 현상이 된 현시점에서 전북지역 외국인노동자들의 모국송금액 에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고자 한다. 특히 외국인노동자들의 인구사회학적특성, 한국거주환경특 성, 사회특성, 의사소통특성의 영역으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 그 결과 인구사회학적 특성 중 성별, 결혼 유무와 한국거주환경특성 중 동반입국여부, 직업교육유무, 거주지형태가 본국 송금에 통계적으로 유의 한 영향을 끼쳤다. 이에 본 연구는 외국인노동자의 송금에 대한 부정적 인식 보다 한국의 생산인구감소 및 초고령화 사회 진입에 따른 노동집약 3D업종의 지속경영을 위한 외국인 노동자들의 보완적 역할이 중요해졌다. 따라서 지속적인 외국인노동자 유입과 한국에서의 생활안정을 위한 가족단위 이민으로 전환이 요구된 다. 또한 외국인노동자의 불법체류예방 및 인권보호를 위해 한국 입국 후 직업교육을 의무화하며 이 기간 동안 수습노동자의 수준에 맞는 임금을 지원하고, 교육 후 적성 및 능력에 적합한 사업장 연계정 책을 제안한다.
