In the 21st century, globalization has already surged every corner of the world. As a result, the word "Contemporary Ceramics" has taken the position of "Ceramics" when describing clay objects. If Contemporary Ceramic can be categorized as one branch of Contemporary art, then it is extremely important to understand the essence of Contemporary Art. Contemporary art refers to works developed after 1960 that emphasize humanities and have a certain impact on society. This paper uses the Structuralism method approach to integrate the above-mentioned prerequisites and constructs four structures to make how globalization relates to Contemporary Ceramics, then applies those four structures to Contemporary Ceramic works which satisfied above prerequisites. Through further analysis, it is confirmed that structures as such are applicable to Contemporary Ceramics. And finally draws corresponding practical conclusions.

21세기에 들어오면서 세계화의 물결이 세계 전반으로 확산되었고 ‘당대 도예’라는 명사가 기존의 ‘도자기’라는 명칭을 대체하는 결과를 가져오게 되었다. 당대 도예가 당대 예술의 한 갈래로 요약된 다면 당대 예술을 구축하는 구성과 본질을 이해하는 것이 특히 중요해 보인다. 당대 예술은 1960년 이후 발전하여 인문을 강조하고 사회에 일정한 영향을 미치는 작품을 가리킨다. 본문에서는 구조주의 방법을 통해 위에서 서술한 전제를 융합하고 세계화와 당대 도예가 어떤 연관성을 가지는지에 대한 네 가지 구 조를 구축하였으며, 이 네 가지 구조를 응용해 전제 조건에 적합한 당대 도예 작품에 적용하여 분석함 으로써 상술한 구조의 적용가능성을 검증하고 최종적으로 이에 상응하는 실천적인 결론을 도출하고자 한다.
