In South korea, it has been challenging to deal with the problem of helping North Korean refugees to settle in and enabling them to support themselves. The prejudice and discrimination towards North Koreans by the South Koreans, as well as the North Koreans own self-reproach and inferiority complex have compounded the difficulty of the North Koreans’ adaptation to their new life in a competitive capitalist society. In this study, we have found out that these North Koreans have strong entrepreneurial, especially amongst the youths and students. During the start-up process, a collaborative model of partnership and the mentor-mentee system were presented to the South and North Korea youths and students in university. For them, entrepreneurship is a practical challenge to create new opportunities and build small businesses as economic activists in South Korean society. This entrepreneurship practice can help North Koreans realize their dream of settlement and self-support in South Korean society. This study focuses on the case study of collaborative model and the theory of entrepreneurship in practice.

한국에서 북한이탈주민의 정착과 자립의 문제는 쉽지 않다. 남한 국민들의 편견과 차별, 또 스스로의 자격지심과 열등감으로 자본주의 경쟁사회에서 적응의 어려움은 이미 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 북한이탈 청년 및 대학생들이 잘 할 수 있는 것을 하자는 긍정적 움직임을 기업가정신과 창업 방향성으로 연구하였다. 창업과정에서 새롭게 남북의 청년 및 대학생들에게, 멘토-멘티 제도와 파트너십의 협업 모델을 제시하였다. 북한이탈 청년 및 대학생들에게 창업은 남한사회에서 경제적 활동가로써 새로운 기회와 소기업을 창조하 는 실천적 도전이다. 이러한 기업가정신 실천은 남한사회에서 정착과 자립의 꿈을 실현할 수 있기 때문이다. 남북청년 및 대학생들의 협업모델 창업사례와 기업가정신 실천 이론을 중심으로 제시하였다.
