Martin Bucher, who lived in the time of Reformation is a pastoral scholar who established the Ecclesiology of Reformed Church in the middle of the conflict with the Catholics, Anabaptists and Spritualists. Getting top of pastoral working in Strasburg, he had achieved the reforms in many fields. But after the triumph in the Schmalkaldic War, Charles V forced the city assembly to sign Augusburg Interim, and the city council of Strasburg accepted it. And it became to the situation that the evangelical churches in Strasburg had to be returned to Catholic Church again. As standing against it, Bucer had to take refuge in England. In this difficult situation, he published '"A Brief Summary of Christian DoctrineJ with 29Articles that he believed and taught over 28 years. This pamphlet contains the Ecclesiology of the Bucer. He tried hard to understand the Church as the Body of Christ and restore it to the church in the Bible and to the ancient apostolic church. This led to the establishment of the Ecclesiology of the reformed Church, that is, the appointment of the ministers, the sacraments, the church discipline, the worship and the daily assemblies, and the civil authority etc..

종교개혁 시대의 마르틴 부쳐는 가톨릭과 재세례파, 신령주의자들과의갈등 속에서 개혁교회의 교회론을 수 립한 목회신학자다. 그는 슈트라스부르크에서 목회사역을 감당하며, 여러 분야에서 개혁을이루어냈다. 그러 나 슈말켈톤 전쟁의 승리로 가톨릭을 지지하는 칼 5세황제가 「아우구스부르크 입시협정」을 강요하자 슈 트라스부르크 시의회가 이를 수용했고, 복음주의 교회들이 다시 가톨릭으로 되돌아가지 못하도록 저항하던 부쳐는 결국 추방당했다. 이런 어려운 상황에서 그는 28년간 자신이 믿고 가르친 것들을 29가지 주제로 정하 여 『간단한 교리 요약』을 출판했다. 이 팜플렛에는 부쳐의 교회론이 묻어난다. 그는 교회를 그리스도의 몸 으로 이해하고, 교회를 성경과 고대 사도적 교회의 모습으로 회복하려고 애썼다. 이로 인해 목회자의 임무, 성례전, 권징, 주일예배와 매일기도모임 등 개혁교회의 교회관을 제시하게 되었다.
