This study aims to identify the interrelationship of component factors in dynamic capabilities, and analyze the effect of dynamic capabilities on the international performance of Korean exporting SMEs and the moderating effect of environment dynamism and firm type(stronger/weaker in Korean exporting SMEs) between dynamic capabilities and international performance. The result of this study are as follows. (1) The opportunity exploration capability had a statistically significant, positive influence on resource acquisition capability and resource reconfiguration capability. And the resource acquisition capability had a statistically significant, positive influence on resource reconfiguration capability. (2) The resource reconfiguration capabilities had a statistically significant, positive influence on international performance. (3) The environment dynamism had a positive moderating effect on the relationship between resource reconfiguration capability and international performance. (4) Also the firm type(stronger vs weaker) had a positive moderating effect on the relationship of resource reconfiguration capability and international performance, while it had a negative moderating effect on the relationship between opportunity exploration capability and international performance. Therefore, this study highlights the importance of dynamic capability development in the international growth of Korean exporting SMEs, and derives strategic implications for their success by emphasizing the effect of environmental dynamism and firm type.

본 연구는 국내 수출중소기업이 빠르게 변하는 국제경쟁 환경에서 지속적으로 성장할 수 있는 요인을 동적역량으로 제시하고, 동적역량 개발 프로세스를 규명함과 동시에 해외진출 성과에 미치는 영향 관계를 분석하였다. 그리고 동적역량과 해외진출성과와의 관계에서 환경 동태성과 수출중소기업 유형의 조절효과도 함께 분석하였다. 이를 위해 한국무역협회에 등록된 수출제조기업 중 총 3,500개의 표본을 추출한 후 설문조사를 통해 292개의 자료를 수집하여 이를 바탕으로 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 그 결과, 동적역량 구성요소인 기회탐색역량이 자원획득역량과 자원재구성역량에 유의한 정 (+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 자원획득역량은 자원재구성역량에 유의한 정(+)의 영향 을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 자원재구성역량이 해외진출성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 자원획득역량은 유의하지 않게 나타났다. 또한 조절효과 분석결과, 환경동태성은 자원재구성역량과 해외진출성과 간의 관계에 정(+)의 조절효과를, 기회탐색역량과 해외진출성과 간의 관계에는 부(-)의 조절효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 기업유형에서도 자원재구성역량과 해외진출성과 간의 관계에 정(+)의 조절효과를, 기회탐색역량과 해외진출성과 간의 관계는 부(-)의 조절효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 수출중소기업의 동적역량 개발 메커니즘을 확인할 수 있었고, 동적역량이 해외진출성과 향상에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 요인임이 입증되었다. 그리고 동적역량이 성과 에 미치는 관계에 있어 환경동태성과 기업유형의 조절효과를 확인함으로써 수출중소기업의 해외진출성과 향상을 위한 이론적, 경영적 시사점을 찾을 수 있었다.
