As the Korean society entered the information age, game and smart-phone addictions among juveniles have emerged as a social issue, following the spread of the internet and smart phones. This study focused on the sequential link among interpersonal relationships, smart-phone and game addictions, delinquency, and subjective well-being by using the data gathered from middle to high school adolescents. According to the analysis, among teenagers' interpersonal relationships, parenting and friend relationships had a negative impact on smart-phone addiction and game addiction. Interestingly, smart-phone addiction, but not game addiction, had a positive impact on delinquency. In addition, subjective sense of well-being was negatively influenced by smart-phone and game addictions. The result implied that our approach to smart-phone addiction should be differentiated from game-addiction. Implications for research and policies were discussed based on the findings.

정보화시대가 본격화되면서 인터넷과 스마트폰 보급이 급속히 진전되었고 그 부산 물로 게임 및 스마트폰 중독이 우리사회의 문제로 대두되었다. 특히 인생의 과도기적 시기에 놓여 있는 청소년들에게 있어 중독경향이 매우 두드러지게 나타나고 있음에도 그러한 중독이 발생하는 경로를 실증적으로 고민한 연구는 많지 않다. 본 연구는 청소 년들이 대인관계로 인한 긴장감을 해소하고자 게임을 시작한다는 선행연구의 지적에 주목하여, 청소년의 게임 중독·스마트폰 중독에 영향을 주는 주요 요인으로 대인관계 경험을 상정하고, 게임·스마트폰 중독이 궁극적으로 비행을 야기함으로써 청소년의 주 관적 안녕감에 영향을 주는지를 실증적으로 검토하였다. 분석결과에 의하면, 청소년의 대인관계 중에서 부모관계와 친구관계가 스마트폰중 독에 부(-)적인 영향을 미치며, 게임 중독에도 이와 같은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났 다. 흥미롭게도 스마트폰 중독은 비행에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 반면에 게임중독의 비행에 대한 영향력은 유의미성을 보이지 않았다. 아울러 주관적 안녕감에는 비행은 물 론 스마트폰중독과 게임중독 모두 부(-)적인 영향을 미치는 결과를 보여 비행의 완전매개와 부분매개 역할을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 청소년의 대인관계가 스마트폰중 독 및 게임중독에 영향을 주고, 비행을 매개로 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 통합적 이고 실증적으로 짚어보았다는데 의의가 있다.
