The objective of this study is to verify how status change of regular work and wage influence on life satisfaction with wage workers with disabilities through a longitudinal study. For the purposes of this study, data was drawn from the 1st wave to the 8th wave data of ‘Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled’ providing at Korea Employment Agency. This study was targeting a total of 633 disabled wage workers. This data is analyzed with SPSS program. The results were as follows: (1) the consistent non-regular worker was confirmed to have an negative influence on life satisfaction, while the consistent regular worker was confirmed to have an positive influence on life satisfaction. (2) The case of wage cut was confirmed to have an negative influence on job satisfaction, while The case of wage raise was confirmed to have an positive influence on job satisfaction. (2) The case that the consistent non-regular worker irrespective of wage cut or raise was determined to have a negative effect on life satisfaction. Based on these results, some implications with discussion were proposed to improve life satisfaction of the wage earners with disabilities through maintaining regular work and changing to the regular work.

본 연구는 임금근로장애인들의 정규직 및 임금수준의 상태변화가 생활만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 검증하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 한국장애인고용개발원에서 구축·배포한 장애인고용패널 제1차년도에서 8 차년도까지의 종단자료를 활용하였다. 분석대상은 임금근로장애인 633명이며, 자료분석은 SPSS 프로그램을 활 용하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 지속적으로 비정규직을 유지한 경우가 생활만족도에 부적(-)인 영향을 보였으며, 지 속적으로 정규직을 유지한 경우가 생활만족도에 정적(+)인 영향이 있음을 검증하였다. 둘째, 비정규직을 유지하는 경우가 임금인상과 무관하게 생활만족도에 부적(-)인 영향관계가 있음을 검증하였다. 상기의 연구결과를 토 대로, 정규직을 유지하거나 정규직으로의 전환을 통해 임금근로장애인의 생활만족도를 높일 수 있는 논의 및 제언을 하였다.
