[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to present the educational alternatives to revitalize the declining golf industry. [Method] For this study, some related papers and data were collected and analyzed. The results are as follows. [Result] First, in order to increase the golfing population, many teenagers should be provided with some public education courses like Dream School, which enables them to experience enjoyable golf course as one of school programs. Second, through a variety of experience events such as camping and concert held at a golf course, a lot of families should be given some opportunities to take part in some enjoyable programs, which will be helpful to secure the potential golfing population. Additionally, some experience programs connected to regional tour and festivals will be advisable. Third, for the increase of the young-aged golfing population, experience lessons, introductory courses and equipment rental services should be provided in cooperation with agencies related to golf industry in order for beginners to reduce some cost burden, while three-hole, six-hole and nine-hole round programs need to be made for the golfers who want to play without caddy and are reluctant to play 18 holes.

[목적] 본 연구는 국내 및 세계적 골프인구 감소 원인과 관련된 논문과 최신 연구자료 수집 및 분석을 통해 침체되어 있는 골프산업의 활성화 대안과 교육적 연계방안을 제시하고자 한다. [방법] 본 연구는 선행연구 자료와 각종 통계자 료를 수집하고 이용 하였으며, 이후 현황을 분석하였다. 위와 같은 절차를 통해 다음과 같은 결론 및 제언을 하고자 한다. [결과] 첫째, 골프인구 증가를 위해서 공교육 영역에서 진행되는 꿈의 학교 등 융합적 교육과정과 협력하여 많 은 청소년들이 학교과정에서 골프를 경험하고 즐길 수 있도록 공교육 프로그램을 활성화해야 한다. 둘째, 즐겁게 가 족단위 참여가 가능하고 골프장 체험이 가능한 골프장캠핑, 골프장콘서트 이벤트를 통해 골프장 홍보와 잠재적 골프 인구를 확보할 수 있도록 체험프로그램을 강화하고, 더불어 지역관광, 축제, 등 지역자원과 연계하여 지속적인 프로 그램으로써 발전이 필요하다. 셋째, 젊은 층의 골프인구 증가를 위해 비용 부담이 되지 않도록 체험레슨, 입문레슨, 장비렌털 서비스 등을 골프산업 유관기관과 협력하여 제공하도록 한다. 캐디가 없는 셀프라운드와 18홀 라운드가 부 담되는 골퍼들을 위한 3홀, 6홀, 9홀 라운드 모델의 활성화가 요구된다.
