[Purpose] This study aims to suggest measures to improve this imbalance by comparing the factors determining spectator attendance and satisfaction, and identifying strengths and weaknesses of both Korean women's and men's professional golf. [Method] A total of 334 golf fans who attended professional golf tournaments in Korea were surveyed, and their responses were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis through a pilot study, confirmatory factor analysis for validity, reliability coefficient alpha for reliability, and multivariate analysis of variance for a comparative analysis. [Result] According to their experience with professional golf tournaments, respondents were divided into two groups, as those who attended men's golf tournaments and those who attended women's golf tournaments. The spectators of men's golf tournaments showed a higher values when considering facilities, cost, and spectator satisfaction, while spectators of women's golf tournaments showed relatively higher values when considering marketing, awareness, and entertainment factors. [Conclusion] As a result, men's and women's golf tournaments revealed significant differences in spectator experience, which is in line with the purpose of this study—conducting an in-depth analysis to promote harmonious growth of men's and women's golf in Korea.

[목적] 본 연구는 한국 남녀프로골프의 경기장 유인요인과 관람만족을 비교 및 분석하여 서로의 장단점 발견하고 극 복과제를 제시하는 것을 연구목적으로 두고 있다. [방법] 구체적인 분석을 위해 한국에서 열린 프로골프대회에 관람 경험이 있는 334명의 골프팬에게 수집된 설문지를 바탕으로 예비조사를 통한 탐색적 요인분석, 타당도 검증을 위한 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도 계수인 알파를 이용한 신뢰도 검증 그리고 비교연구를 위한 일원다변량 분산분석을 실시했 다. [결과] 설문응답자들은 프로골프경기 관람경험을 토대로 2개의 그룹(남자골프 관람그룹과 여자골프 관람그룹)으 로 분류되었다. 남자골프 관람경험이 있는 응답자들에게서 시설, 비용 및 관람만족에서 높은 결과 값이 도출되었고, 여자골프 관람경험이 있는 응답자들은 마케팅, 지명도 그리고 위락성 요인에서 상대적으로 높은 결과 값을 나타냈 다. [결론] 결과적으로 남녀프로골프대회는 골프팬들에게 분명한 관람경험의 차이를 보였으며, 이는 남녀프로골프의 동반 성장을 위한 구체적인 분석의 필요성을 언급한 본 연구의 취지와도 일맥상통했다.
