The purpose of this study is to examine the development status of the domestic and overseas fin-tech industries to diagnose the status of the fin-tech industry, which was selected as one of the eight leading projects for innovative growth. Next, this study will examine in depth the four tasks that the government has selected as the main tasks for revitalizing the fin-tech industry. The four tasks are 'activating innovative financial service experiments and support', 'advancing financial service', 'expanding fin-tech market' and 'responding to fin-tech innovation risk'. In addition, it summarizes the expected effects of fin-tech activation and analyzes the current status of the two fin-tech enterprises listed on the KOSDAQ market. It is expected to help us understand the actual development of the company. In conclusion, this study emphasizes that the policy efforts for the development of the fin-tech industry should be accompanied by the continuous mitigation of related regulations such as sandboxing and the innovation risk response policy represented by the strengthening ofmanagement supervision. This study suggests that it is necessary to continuously benchmark overseas cases on related support policies in order to activate fin-tech startups.

본 연구는 혁신성장을 위한 8대 선도사업의 하나로 선정된 핀테크의 현황을 진단하기 위해 우선 국내외 핀테크 산업의 발전상황을 살펴보고, 정부 차원에서 핀테크 산업의 활성화를 위한 추진과제로 삼고 있는 혁신적 금융서비스 실험 및 지원 활성화, 금융권 서비스 고도화, 핀테크 시장 확대, 핀테크 혁신 리스크 대응에 관한 내용을 심도 깊게 살펴보고자 하였다. 또한, 핀테크 활성화를 통해 얻게 되는 기대효과를 정리하고 우리나 라 핀테크 기업 중 현재 코스닥시장에 상장되어 있는 2개 기업을 대상으로 기업의 현황을 분석해 봄으로써 핀테크 산업 전반에 관한 진단과 함께 핀테크기업의 실제적인 발전상을 이해하는 데에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 결론적으로는 본 연구는 핀테크 산업의 발전을 위해 정책 적으로 노력해야 할 부분으로 샌드박스 마련 등 관련 규제의 지속적인 완화정책과 함께 관리 감독의 강화로 대변되는 혁신 리스크 대응 정책이 동반되어야 함을 강조하고 있으며, 핀테크 스타트업 활성화를 위해 관련 지원정책에 대한 해외사례 벤치마킹 등을 지속적으로 추진할 필요가 있 음을 시사점으로 제시하고 있다.
