This study is differentiated in that it evaluated and attempted the industrial R&D investment scoreboard index considering both industrial risk and management efficiency from a comprehensive perspective by using the database of the top 1,000 companies in Korea R&D investment. The results of the industrial R&D investment scoreboard index and efficiency index are summarized as follows. First, the industrial R&D investment scoreboard index and efficiency index have been continuously declining since 2010, and efforts are needed to improve overall competitiveness through improving efficiency of the company. Second, by region, the industrial R&D scoreboard index and efficiency index were high in Seoul, whichmeans that companies in Seoul have relatively lowrisk of insolvency and high efficiency. Third, the industrial R&D investment scoreboard index and efficiency index were different depending on the industry, which means that customized policies for each industry are needed. Fourth, the industrial R&D investment scoreboard index was relatively high due to the intensified competition among companies in China, and the companies that did not export to China were relatively high due to the government's continuous restructuring and public characteristics. Based on this, R&Dinvestment and innovation activities ofmajor domestic companies will be able to establishmore effective industrial technology policies fromthe economic and management perspective in order to strengthen global competitiveness by analyzing R&Dinvestment patterns and establishing a direction for establishing private R&Dinvestment activation policy.

본 연구는 국내 R&D투자 상위 1,000대 기업의 데이터베이스를 활용하여 기업리스크와 경영효율성을 동시에 고려한 기업 R&D 스코어보드 지수를 종합적인 시각에서 평가하고 시도했다는 점에서 차별성을 가진다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업 R&D 스코어보드지수와 효율성 지수는 2010년이후 지속적으로 하락해 기업의 효율성 개선을 통해 전반적인 경쟁력을 향상시키기 위한 노력이 필요하다. 둘째, 지역별로는 기업 R&D 스코어보드지수와 효율성지수가 서울지역에서 높게 나타났다. 이는 서울지역에 있는 기업이 상대적으로 부실위험이 낮고 효율이 높음을 의미한다. 셋째, 업종에 따라 기업 R&D 스코어보드지수와 효율성지수가 상이하게 나타났다. 이는 업종별 맞춤형 정책이 필요하다는 의미이다. 넷째, 중국으로 수출하는 기업들은 기업간 경쟁심화로 기업 효율성지수가 상대적으로 높고, 중국으로 수출하지 않는 기업은 정부의 지속적인 구 조조정, 공공 성격을 가진 업종들로 기업 R&D스코어보드지수가 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 이를 통해 R&D투자패턴 분석 및 선도기업 혁신 사 례를 분석함으로써 향후 민간 R&D 투자활성화 정책 수립 방향을 수립하고, 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 위해 국내 주요 기업들의 R&D투자 및 혁신활 동을 경제·경영학적 관점에서 동시에 분석한다면 보다 효과적인 산업기술정책을 수립할 수 있을 것이다.
