The aim of this study that humanity is the most important competency to prepare for the future by the 4th Industrial revolution and to solve the problem of modern society such as materialism, convenienceism and self-centeredness in Korea. The spiritual intelligence, the associated with humanity, is Gardner’s the ninth intelligence that is needed when flexibility, creativity and spontaneity are required, seeking meaning and value and good. This intelligence is essential for future talent who will not be replaced by artificial intelligence. This study theoretically proved that the ninth intelligence(spiritual intelligence) is the capacity to overcome the misunderstandings and prejudices of humanity, such as just good heart or inefficiency in humanity education. So, in terms of competency, the level of the ninth intelligence(spiritual intelligence) is expressed as energy quantification by emotion and proposed step by ratio of Higher self and Ego self. It is also important to maintain positive emotion in order to improve the ninth intelligence(spiritual intelligence). Emotional management and physical management are needed to improve the ninth intelligence(spiritual intelligence) The suggestion of this study are as follows. First, it is necessary to develop the ninth intelligence measurement tools for the dissemination and diffusion of the ninth intelligence(spiritual intelligence), Second, the ninth intelligence(spiritual intelligence) should be actively conducted in various field such as psychology, education, management and humanities, Third, the development and operation of various programs for improving the ninth intelligence(spiritual intelligence) in corporations and educational institutions should be spread. Lastly, I hope to find and spread best practices for utilizing the ninth intelligence(spiritual intelligence)

본 연구의 목적은 4차 산업 혁명으로 인한 미래사회에 대비하고, 우리나라의 물질만능, 편의 주의, 자기중심성 등 현대사회 문제 해결을 위해 인성이 무엇보다 중요한 역량임을 주장한 이론 연구다. 인성지능은 Gardner의 9번째 지능에 해당하는 지능으로서 유연성, 창의성, 자발성이 요구될 때 필요한 지능이며 의미와 가치를 추구하고 선을 추구하는 양심적인 지능으로 인공지능에 대체 되지 않을 미래형 인재에게 꼭 필요한 역량이다. 이 연구에서는 인성을 단지 착한 마음씨나 인성 교육은 해도 그만 안해도 그만이라는 오해와 편견을 탈피하기 위해 인성지능이 역량임을 이론적 으로 입증하였다. 역량적 측면에서 인성지능 수준을 감정별 에너지 수치화와 대아자아(Higher Self) 와 에고자아(Ego self)의 비율로 단계화하여 제시하였다. 또한 인성지능 향상을 위해서는 긍정적 감정을 유지하는 것이 중요하며, 이를 위해 정서관리와 신체관리가 필수적이다. 이 연구의 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인성지능에 대한 보급과 확산을 위해 인성지능 측정도 구 개발이 필요하며, 둘째, 심리, 교육, 경영, 인문학 등 다양한 영역에서 인성지능 연구가 활발 히 진행되어야 하며, 셋째, 기업체 및 교육기관에서 인성지능 향상을 위한 다양한 프로그램이 개 발 및 운영이 확산되어야 하고, 마지막으로 인성지능 활용 우수 사례를 발굴하여 확산·보급 되었으면 한다.
