Modern high-tech civilization goes through the paradoxical process of expanding the realm of civilization through irrational magicalization in the rationalization process. This paper considers travel contents appearing in popular culture in terms of secularized spirituality and re-artization. Television programs, such as Welcome~ Are you new to Korea? and Seoul Mate, sterilize the conflicts and dents in the destination and reconstruct the destination into a mysterious and fascinating space based on the nostalgia. In these programs, foreigners are not travelers, but instead of being assimilated into Korea, they are instrumental in contributing to the integration of korean identities, praising korean emotions and culture. Therefore, to ensure authenticity of travel, it is necessary to be disconnected from everyday thoughts. In Hyo-ri's guesthouse, Campingclub, Spain lodging, Where is it? the attitude of heterotopia asylum constitutes a new self-existence and shows the process of elevating spirituality. By throwing himself into extreme solitude, the process of sublime ontological imagination of the new self is captured. In the case of space adventures in the form of disaster blockbusters such as Gravity and Interstellar, advanced technology focuses on the absolute weakness of hope for salvation instead of emphasizing the greatness of humans conquering the universe. In the film, the spaceship is not a symbol of advanced science, but a meaning space that has no choice but to reflect on death. After all, as science becomes more advanced, it is the tendency of reshaping to return to mystery and sanctity.

이 연구는 2000년대 들어 대중매체에서 여행 프로그램들이 급증하는 현상을 공식 종 교가 사적 영성으로 대체되고, 첨단문명이 세속적인 형태의 재주술화로 구현되는 징후 로 해석하고자 한다. ‘연출된 진정성과 미디어가 상상한 내부’에서는 텔레비전이 주도하는 여행 프로그램 이 여행지 내부의 갈등과 치부를 멸균 처리하고, 여행지를 노스텔지어에 기반하여 신비 하고 황홀한 공간으로 재구성하는 한계를 고찰한다. 여기에 따르면, 외국인들은 여행자 가 아니라, 한국에 동화된 타자의 위치에서 한국인의 정서와 문화를 찬양하면서 한국인 의 정체성 통합에 기여하는 도구적 존재로 전락한다. ‘헤테로토피아적 망명과 영성 수행’에서는 여행이 진정성을 확보하기 위해서는 헤테 로토피아적 망명의 자세가 요구됨을 고찰한다. 여행 프로그램에서는 일상의 사유와 단 절함으로써 존재론적 재구성을 시도하고, 극한의 고독 속에 자신을 던져 놓음으로써 이 안에서 숭고한 영성을 경험하는 망명의 자세가 두드러진다. ‘재난의 스펙터클과 재주술화’에서는 우주탐험의 과정에서 맞닥뜨린 재난 속에서 첨 단 테크놀로지가 인간 구원의 제의적 공간으로 변화되는 양상을 고찰한다. 즉 과학의 발 전은 탈주술이 아닌 신비함과 성스러움으로 회귀하는 재주술화의 경향으로 나아감을 고 찰한다.
