With perception of the seriousness of violence at schools, the current research aims to examine whether prospective teachers’ experience of sociodrams exerts a significant influence on their work personality and teaching ability. The research subjects consist of a group of 30 college students who are taking courses for teacher training at University located in Cheonan. The subjects, who were taking the class named ‘Prevention of Campus Violence’, were classified into an experimental group(30). A set of analysis methods were employed with the help of SPSS 21.0: descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, t-test. It was found that the experimental group experiencing sociodramas showed a significantly greater level of work personality and teaching ability. The results of the present analysis showed that a variety of teaching methods would help students better respond to the expanded role of teachers including academic teaching as well as personality. 본 연구는 학교폭력의 심각성을 인식하고 학교폭력예방에 대한 예비교사의 역량강화를 위하여 소시오드 라마를 실연 경험한 후, 예비교사로서의 직업인성과 교수능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 천 안에 위치한 대학교의 교직과정을 이수하고 있는 예비교사들이며 “학교폭력예방 및 학생의 이해”란 수업을 수강하 는 30명으로 진행하였다. 이에 대한 분석방법으로는 SPSS 21.0을 활용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, t 검정을 적용하 였으며 본 연구의 결과로는 학교폭력예방 관련 소시오드라마(socio drama)를 실연경험한 실험집단(30명)이 직업 인성과 교수능력에 통계적으로 유의미한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 교사의 역할이 교과 외 에도 생활지도 등이 확대화됨에 따라 교수능력 뿐만 아니라 인성 등의 역량이 필요하다는 점에 대한 시사점과 이 와 같은 역량을 통하여 학생의 전인적 발달을 조력하고자 한다.
