In this study, we conducted empirical research on the effect of the opportunity level of senior entrepreneurs on business performance in three Asian innovation-driven countries : Korea, Japan and Singapore, and thus verified the effect of the level of opportunity entrepreneur on the entrepreneurial satisfaction, income after start-up and the survival-easeness after start-up. In addition, this study intended to suggest suggestions and directions for improvement of factors that the senior entrepreneurs support program should have by verifying the moderating effect of the Government Entrepreneurship Support Program on the relationship between the opportunity level of senior entrepreneurs and business performance. As a result, the opportunity level of senior entrepreneurs had a significant positive influence on the entrepreneurial satisfaction, income after start-up and the survival-easeness after start-up. In addition, the effectiveness of the Government Entrepreneurship Support Program has a positive effect on the income after start-up and the survival-easeness after start-up through a positive moderating effect. These results suggest that senior entrepreneurs should be led to opportunity entrepreneur in the process of preparing for start-ups. It also suggests that the accumulated human capital from senior's work experience should be fully utilized and applied in order to induce opportunity entrepreneur, and that it is necessary to design a senior-specific Government Entrepreneurship Support program in order to meet the characteristics of senior entrepreneurs.

본 연구는 아시아 혁신주도형 국가인 한국, 일본, 싱가포르 3개국의 시니어 창업가를 대상으 로 기회형 창업수준과 창업 성과와의 관계에 대한 실증연구를 수행함으로써 기회형 창업수준이 창업 만족도, 창업후 소득, 창업후 생존용이도에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 또한 시니어 창업가 의 기회형 창업수준과 창업 성과와의 관계에 정부 창업지원 프로그램의 조절효과를 검증하여 시 니어 창업지원 프로그램이 갖추어야 할 요인에 대한 제언 및 개선 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구결과 시니어 창업가의 기회형 창업수준은 창업 만족도, 창업후 소득, 창업후 생존용이도 유 의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 정부의 창업지원 프로그램은 창업후 소득, 창업후 생존용이도 에 정(+)의 조절효과를 통해 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 창업 준비 과정에서 시니어 창업자의 생계형 창업을 기회형 창업으로 유도해 주어야 함을 시사한다. 또한 기회형 창업 유도를 위해 시니어의 일의 경험에서 나오는 누적된 인적 자본이 충분히 활용 되고 적용될 수 있도록 해야 하며, 시니어 창업에 있어 시니어 계층에 특성을 고려하여 이에 부 합되도록 시니어 특화 정부 창업지원 프로그램을 설계할 필요가 있음을 시사하고 있다.
