The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the organizational innovation performance for EIPE (Equipment Intensive Public Enterprise). To achieve this purpose, the researchers analyzed organizational innovation performance based on the innovation activities and cooperation of SMRT (Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit), one of the representative EIPEs in Korea. In theory, from the perspective of Management of Technology, the researchers tried to suggest implications for the innovation performance of EIPE. In addition, In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, where hyper-connectivity and super-intelligence can be realized, EIPE aimed to promote organizational survival and development. Because of the characteristics of hyper-connectivity and super-intelligence, various issues are quickly created, changed and destroyed in this era. As a performance of the organizational innovation of EIPE (SMRT), the researchers presented implications in three aspects based on the impact on ‘communication improvement in the department’ and ‘improvement of working environment and safety.’ The first implication of this research could be found to present the necessity to build the "Technology Sharing System" & "Communication System" for organizational innovation. Second, we suggested the necessity to build the "Value-oriented Shared Values as Organizational Culture". Last, we also presented the necessity to build the "Big Data System" by political supporting for the organizational innovation.

본 연구의 목적은 설비집약적공기업(EIPE)에 대한 조직혁신성과를 실증적으로 분석하는 것이 다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여, 연구자들은 대한민국의 대표적인 EIPE 중 하나인 SMRT(Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit)의 혁신활동과 협력을 기반으로 조직혁신성과를 분석 하였다. 이론적으로 기술경영학의 관점에서, 연구자들은 설비집약적공기업의 혁신성과에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 또한 초연결과 초지능의 구현이 가능한 4차 산업혁명 시대에, 설 비집약적공기업이 조직의 생존과 발전을 도모하고자 하였다. 초연결과 초지능의 특징들로 인하 여, 이런 시대에는 다양한 이슈들이 빠르게 생성ㆍ변경ㆍ소멸되기 때문이다. EIPE(SMRT)의 조 직혁신성과로서, 연구자들은 소속부서 내 커뮤니케이션 증대와 업무환경 및 안전성 개선에 미친 영향을 바탕으로 세 가지 측면에서 시사점을 제시하였다. 연구자들은, 첫째, 조직혁신을 위한 “기술공유시스템”과 “의사소통시스템” 구축의 필요성을 제시하였다. 둘째, “조직문화로서 가치 지향적인 공유가치” 구현의 필요성을 제시하였다. 셋째, 조직혁신을 위한 "빅데이터 시스템" 구 축을 위한 정책적 지원의 필요성을 제시하였다.
