- This study intented to deal with the problem of the return of ‘specters’ and the ‘authenticity’ of the 1980s appearing in Hwang Ji-woo’s poems in the early ‘80s. The authenticity of the ‘80s is an important part of how to remember and mourn the theme of ‘The Gwangju May 1980’ . In the text of Hwang Ji-woo’s early poems, the ‘specter’ who returns and stares at the poetic subject reminds us of the unresolved matters of ‘The Gwangju May’s case in 1980, and asks for its responsibility. In addition, the return of the specter is not a matter of ethics confined to ‘The Gwangju May’ . The themes of memory and oblivion of the past are also deeply linked to the matter of continuation and loss of politicality and historicity. Jacques Derrida’s hantologie discussed the ethics for the others that put in a demurrer the nowness and create the continuity with the past through the de-synchronization of time and the issue of anachrony. In Hwang Ji-woo’s early poems, the specter constantly returns, questioning the crisis of memory and the crisis of politics. The subject facing the return of the specter is not forgetting the problem of history and continuing to mourn the deaths of the past. On the other hand, those who lose their past and historicity and forget about the various reasons of oblivion, such as the expansion of capitalism and the flooding of American culture, have no choice but to live like live corpse. Hwang Ji-woo saw two symmetrical lives in his day: It is the life of continuing to meet specters, continuing historical ethics, and of forgetting the past and piggybacking on the tide of the times. We will look at the subjects of life who think and conflict with the memory and ethics of politics and history in Hwang Ji-woo’s poems.

- 본 연구는 황지우 80년대 초기 시에 나타나는 ‘유령’의 귀환과 80년대 진정성의 문제를 다루고자 한다. 80년대의 진정성은 80년 5월 광주에 대한 기억과 애도의 방식과 긴밀히 연관되어 있다. 황지우의 초기 시에는 죽음으로부터 귀환하여 시적 주체를 응시하는 유령의 표상이 나타난다. 그것은 80년5월 광주의 해결되지 못한 일들을 시적 주체에게 상기시키고, 그에 대한 책임을 다할 것을 요청한다. 또한 유령의 귀환은 단지 80년 5월 광주 사건에만 국한되는 문제가 아니다. 황지우 시에서, 이는 과거에 대한 기억과 망각은 정치성・역사성 상실과 지속에 대한 문제로 확장되어 나타난다. 데리다의 유령론은 시간의 어긋남, 비동시성의 논지를 통해 현재성 자체를 문제시하고 과거에 대한 책임을 다하는 타자-윤리에 대하여 논한다. 황지우의 초기 시에서 유령은 회귀하여 시적 주체를 불편하게 하며 기억의 위기와 정치의 위기를 문제시한다. 유령을 마주함으로써 주체는 역사의 문제를 망각하지 않고, 과거의 죽음들에 대한 애도를 이어 나갈 수 있게 된다. 이에 반해, 한국 사회에서 자본주의의 팽창, 미국식 문화의 범람 등 다양한망각의 이유들 사이에서 과거와 역사성을 상실하고 망각하는 존재들은 산송장과 다름없는 삶을 살아간다. 유령의 응시에 불편함을 느끼며 역사적 윤리를 이어가는 삶과 과거를 망각하며 시대 조류에 편승하는 삶의 대칭적인모습이 황지우가 목도한 당대 삶의 모습이었고, 황지우의 시적 주체 역시양 갈래에서 갈등한다. 황지우의 시 속에 나타나는 기억과 정치 및 역사의윤리를 사유하고 갈등하는 당대 삶의 주체의 모습을 살펴볼 것이다.

- 한국문예창작학회(The Society of Korean Literary Creative Writing)는 한국 문학의 새 지평을 열기 위해 문예창작 이론과 문예교육 이론을 연구 계발하여 문 예창작의 새로운 방향을 제시하고자 조직한 학술단체입니다. 전국 대학과 대학원 문예창작 관련학과의 전·현직 전임교수·겸임(초빙)교수· 강 사·대학원 재학 이상자 및 문예창작인들이 회원으로 활동하고 있습니다. 학회의 목적에 적극적으로 동의하는 문학 관련 단체나 문학창작 동호인도 준회원으로 참 여하고 있습니다. 연 2회 학회지를 발간해 학문적 기반을 닦고 있으며, 정기적으로 학술 세미나 와 해외 문학 심포지엄 등 학술 발표회를 개최하여 학문적 교류와 토론의 장을 넓히고 있습니다. 한편으로, 문예창작 캠프·문학기행 등의 창작교육 활동과 창작 학습 행사를 수 시로 진행하면서, 창작·창작이론·창작교육에 관한 활동의 범위를 넓히고 있습니다. 별도로, 문예창작 교육을 받은 문예창작학도들의 진로 개발을 위해 '문예교육지도 교사 자격 시험'도 운영하고 있습니다. The Society of Korean Literary Creative Writing is a pure academic association for the literary cretive writing, and was organized on November 11, 2001 for the purpose of presenting the new direction of literary creative writing by studying all the methods to activate and develop the theories of literary creative writing and its education. Our society is composed of professors or ex-professors, some invited professor, lecturers, graduate students of the dept. of literary creative writing as regular members, and the persons interested in our program as associative members. Our society holds an annual academic meeting-- literary symposium, literary creative writing seminar-- and publishes the journal of our society and our members' anthology of literary works. Added to these, our society has already started a new project to open the way for our literary juniors by providing them with a certificate as a leader and holding a forum for literary creative writing.
