This paper is intended to support strengthen the International Competitiveness of the Naval Shipbuilding companies. Warship are composed of Hull and Weapon systems, so most Shipbuilders are builds merchant ships and warships in the same shipyards. The export competitiveness of the Korean Warship(HS8906.10) was examined considering the importance of exporting the ship and comparing those of the United States, Netherlands and South Korea. The method used for the study was the analysis of the Revealed Comparative Advantage(RCA) and the Trade Specialization Index(TSI). The results of the analysis show that in South Korea, the competitiveness has become very high recently, and the exports are rapidly increasing. In case of Netherlands is still at a high level of export competitiveness, but its level has recently declined. The United States has low level of export competitiveness but the world's strongest shipbuilding technology, it is highly competitive in the domestic Naval shipbuilding rather than the export warship.

본 연구는 해군 함정 건조 조선소의 국제경쟁력을 강화하기 위하여 진행된 논문이다. 해 군 함정은 선체와 무기시스템이 복합된 것이기 때문에 일반적으로 함정과 상선은 동일한 조선소에서 건조된다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라를 중심으로 미국, 네덜란드를 함께 비교하면 서 함정(HS8906.10)의 수출경쟁력을 분석하였다. 이 연구에서는 현시비교우위(RCA) 및 무역 특화도 지수(TSI) 분석방법을 활용하였다. 분석결과 한국의 경우에는 최근 들어서 경쟁력이 아주 높아져가고 있으며 수출도 급증하고 있다. 반면에 네덜란드는 수출경쟁력은 높은 편 이지만 최근 들어서 그 수준이 낮아져가고 있다. 세계 최강의 함정 건조기술을 보유하고 있는 미국은 수출은 거의하지 않고 내수 위주의 함정건조를 진행하고 있다는 것을 확인하였다.
