In this study, the national defense industry itself has been distorted into a structural corruption group due to unreasonable investigation, investigation, and audit behaviors about the defense business that acquires and procures the defense weapon system. From academic point of view, reexamined the defense industry by studying the concept of corruption and corruption related to defense business, and the direction of improvement and development of it. It examines major cases related to defense business corruption, investigations, investigations, audit progress status, proceedings of court proceedings and judgment results, and looks for institutional, policy improvement and development direction based on identified problems. In the defense industry, it is necessary to promote communication and understanding between the government and the defense industry, and to avoid the public distrust and negative view, And the development direction of the defense industry.

본 연구에서는 국방 무기체계 획득 및 조달을 수행하는 방위사업의 전반에 대한 무리한 수사, 조사, 감사 행태로 인해 국가 방위산업 자체가 구조적 비리집단으로 왜곡된 부분을 짚어 보았다. 학술적인 측면에서 방위사업 비리, 부패 관련 개념과 이에 대한 개선 및 발전 방향을 연구함으로써 방위산업을 재조명하고, 대국민 인식의 전환과 새로운 정책 방향을 제시하였다. 방위사업 비리 관련 주요 사례와 수사, 조사, 감사 진행 현황, 법원 소송 경과 상황 및 판결 결과 등을 진단ㆍ분석하여 식별된 문제점 위주 제도적, 정책적 개선 및 발전 방향을 모색하였다. 방위산업에 있어서 정부와 방산업계 간 소통과 이해를 도모하고, 국민적 불신과 부정적 시각을 탈피하여 국가 기간산업으로서 대한민국 방위산업이 새롭게 도약, 성장해 나아갈 수 있도록 모두가 공감할 수 있는 방위사업의 비리에 대한 인식을 전환, 방위산업의 발전 방향성을 제시할 수 있겠다.
