In this study, research trends and trends were analyzed based on research papers on leisure studies published for the last 10 years from 2009 to 2018. According to the results of the study, the number of papers on leisure studies has increased in quantity, and the study subjects of the study on leisure studies published in the journal Tourism Leisure Research are focusing on a variety of subjects such as senior citizens, ordinary people, university students, women, the disabled, youth, multiculturalism(immigrant workers, foreigners), office workers, and others. In addition, major research fields of leisure studies published in the journal Tourism Leisure Research were published in the fields of leisure psychology, leisure sociology, leisure industry, leisure policy, leisure management, leisure history, tourism and leisure education, and major research methods of leisure studies published in the journal Tourism Leisure Research were far higher, qualitative research and literature research. In order to establish and develop the identity of leisure studies, research methods and subjects must be diversified and comprehensive research must be carried out in various aspects through interdisciplinary studies. These efforts should be made at the academic level as well as researchers.

이 연구는 21세기 정보화시대의 미래지향적 여가를 이해하기 위하여 2009년부터 2018년까지 지 난 10년간 발표된 레저 연구에 관한 연구 논문을 바탕으로 동향 및 경향을 분석하였다. 이 연구에 서 사용된 자료의 분석은 IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계분석을 실시하였 다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 여가 연구에 대한 논문 수가 증가했으며, 관광 여가 연구 저널에 발표된 여 가 연구에 대한 연구 주제는 노인, 일반과 같은 다양한 주제에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 또한 관광 레저 연구지에 게재 된 레저 연구의 주요 연구 분야는 레저 심리학, 레저 사회학, 레저 산업, 레저 정책, 레저 관리, 레저 역사, 관광 및 레저 교육 분야에 게재되었다. Tourism Leisure Research 저널에 발 표된 레저 연구는 훨씬 높은 질적 연구 및 문헌연구였으며, 여가 연구의 정체성을 확립하고 개발하 기 위해서는 연구 방법과 과목을 다양화해야 하며 학제 간 연구를 통해 다양한 측면에서 포괄적인 연구를 수행해야 할 것으로 판단된다.
