This paper captures the changes in the reflections of the characters in the 17th-century novel "Cheongunyeonie" and argues that this reflects the interest in the rule of the nobleman. In the previous study, Cheongun narrative, including "Cheongunyeonie", was evaluated as a self-discipline writing in conjunction with psychological theory. Thus, the structure was also considered to be consistent with the reflection of Cheongun's loss and recovery. However, this paper compares the various Cheongun narratives of the 16th century with the structures of reflection of "Cheongunyeonie" in the 17th century. This is because they are more wary of the invasion of the other than their attitudes that are wary of their minds in the work, and they are more active in their reflection. This change in reflection structure means that the artist's perception has been extended to the world. As a concrete example, the betrayer of "Cheongunyeonie" helps to restore the world of Cheongun through reflection, which is the emergence of a new group of characters that did not exist in the previous Cheongun narrative. Therefore, subsuming the surrounding characters means that the artist's perception is approaching a different dimension than self-disciplined attitude, which means that interest in reality has been expanded. In the last chapter, I discuss the emergence of the unique reflection structure of "Cheongunyeonie" in various contexts. As a result, it was found that the meaning of 'Cheongun' is gradually changing from self-discipline to the meaning of governance which demands a change in the attitude of the monarch, and it is related to the status of "simgyeongbuju" in the history of thought. As a result, the change in reflection structure shown in "Cheongunyeonie" is a result that various cultural contexts are the result of the artist's perception of reality and reflect the change of perception in the 17th century.

이 논문은 17세기 소설 <천군연의>에 나타난 등장인물들의 반성의 양태가 변화했음을 포착하고, 이것이 사대부의 經世에 대한 관심을 반영하고 있음을 논증했다. 기존의 연구에서 <천군연의>를 포함한 천군 서사는 심성론과 결부되어 자기 수양을 위한 글로 평가받았다. 그래서 그 구조 또한 천군의 마음 상실과 회복이라는 반성의 구조로 일관되어 있다고 여겨졌다. 그러나 본고에서 16세기의 다양한 천군 서사와 17세기 <천군연의>의 반성의 구조를 비교해본 결과, <천군연의>에는 자기 수양적인 면모와 더불어 외부 현실에 대한 관심이 나타나 있음을 밝혔다. 이것은 작품에서 자신의 마음을 경계하는 태도보다 타자의 침입에 대해 더욱 경계했다는 점, 그리고 반성을 더욱 능동적으로 해결을 수행한다는 점에서 그렇다. 이처럼 반성 구조의 변화는 작가 인식이 세계로 확장되어졌음을 의미한다. 구체적인 예시로 <천군연의>의 배신하는 인물이 반성을 통해 다시 천군 세계의 회복에 도움을 주는데, 이러한 부분은 이전 천군 서사에서는 존재하지 않았던 새로운 인물군의 출현이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 주변인물을 포섭하는 것은 작가의 인식이 자기 수양적인 태도와 다른 차원에 접근하고 있다는 것을 뜻하며, 이는 현실에 대한 관심이 넓어졌다는 것을 의미한다. 마지막 장에서는 <천군연의>의 독특한 반성 구조의 출현과 관련하여 다양한 맥락에서 살펴보았다. 그 결과, ‘천군’의 의미가 점차 자기 수양의 의미에서 군주의 태도 변화를 요구하는 통치론의 의미로 변화하고 있음을 포착하고, 이것이 사상사적 맥락에서 󰡔심경부주󰡕의 위상과 관련이 있음을 밝혔다. 결과적으로 <천군연의>에 나타난 반성 구조의 변화는 다양한 문화적 맥락이 작가의 현실 인식과 교직한 결과물이자, 17세기 인식 변화를 반영한 의미가 있다.
