The physicochemical characteristics of the four earthenware excavated from the Poseung site were analyzed and the correlation between the earthenwares and the relationship between the archeological ditch sites was studied. First, the chromaticity of the earthenware was low and the color was black. The water uptake was similar to that of general earthenware, but the PS2-1 sample was 8.2%, which was close to pottery. The magnetic susceptibility is a similar group with one pair of earthenware excavated from different historical sites, which indicates the possibility of using different raw materials. In cross-sectional observations, all four earthenware samples were poor in roundness, indicating that the surrounding raw material would have been used. In mineralogical analysis, quartz, muscovite and calcite were identified and firing temperature was estimated to be below 900℃. As a result, although there are some differences in the use of raw materials, it is presumed that the correlation between each producted earthenware is high due to the similarity of manufacturing technique.

평택 포승지구에서 발굴된 토기 4점의 물리화학적 특성을 분석하여 토기편들 간 의 상호관계와 출토 유구 간의 연관성을 연구하였다. 먼저 토기의 색차는 명도가 낮 고 흑색을 띠었는데 이는 소성과정에서 나타난 특징으로 추정된다. 흡수율은 일반 적인 토기와 유사했으나 PS2－1번 토기는 8.2%로 나타나 도기에 가까웠다. 전암대 자율은 출토 유구가 서로 엇갈리면서 유사하게 그룹화 되었으며, 이는 서로 다른 원 료를 사용했을 가능성도 있다. 단면관찰에서는 4점의 토기편 모두 원마도가 낮은 것으로 나타나 주변의 원료를 사용한 것으로 판단된다. 구성 광물분석에서는 석영 과 백운모, 조장석, 정장석 등이 확인되었으며, 소성온도는 900℃ 이하로 추정된다. 결과적으로 일부 원료의 사용에 있어 차이점을 보이고 있으나 토기의 구성광물이나 이를 통한 소성온도, 미량원소의 경향성을 볼 때 유구별 토기 제작기술은 유사성을 보이고 있다.
