The purpose of this study is to learn causative expressions that employ causative ending particles and apply them in the Korean language education. The causative in the Korean grammar and the Korean language education do not come with clear categories; the causative sentence is not clearly defined and categorized as they involve simple vocabulary. In order to do this, the author of this study defined the concept of causative verb as the meaning that ‘a certain performer makes his or her target person reach certain results through direct and indirect actions, and stipulated this grammatical rule as the causation form. In addition, the author of this study analyzed the causation form of Korean through the standards of its form, syntax and meaning based on the discussions of the category of causation form. The causative verb should be characteristically in the form of the root of predicate combined with the causative suffix of ‘-이(ee)-, -히(hi)-, -리(ri)-, -기(gi)-, -우(woo)-, -구(gu)-, -추(chu)-, and syntactically, it should keep the place value of predicate, and semantically, it should have relation with the main verb. Lastly, This study has suggested a method to present causative verbs to bring efficiency in the teaching if the Korean derivative causative through presenting visual data, rules, morphological and syntactic structure, and semantic contrast.

이 연구는 사동접미사를 활용한 사동표현을 익히고 한국어 교육에 적용하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 국어 문법과 한국어 교육에서의 사동법은 제시 범위가 명확하지 않고, 단순 어휘로 제시하며 사동문의 정의와 범주가 명확하지 않다. 이를 위해 사동사의 개념을 ‘어떤 행위자가 행위 대상자에게 직·간접적인 작용을 통하여 어떠한 결과가 나타나는 것’이라 정의하였다. 또한 한국어 교육에서 효과적인 사동법 교육이 이루어 질 수 있도록 사동법의 범주를 형태·통사·의미 기준으로 분석하였다. 사동사는 ‘형태적으로는 용언의 어근과 사동접미사 ‘-이-, -히-, -리-, -기-, -우-, -구-, -추-’가 결합한 형태이고 통사적으로는 서술어의 자릿값을 지켜야 하며, 의미적으로는 본동사와 관련이 있어야 한다는 것을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 한국어 파생 사동법의 효율적 교육을 위한 파생 사동사의 제시 방법을 시각적 자료 제시, 규칙 제시, 형태 및 통사 구조 제시, 의미 대조 제시 방법으로 제안하였다.
